When I Saw Through His Lies
Chapter 4
I paused.
"Wanda, besides you, I really have no other relatives. You can beat me, scold me, or do anything you want. Please don't divorce me, okay? "
This was the first time he cried since we met.
But I couldn't tell anymore whether he was feeling sorry for Nancy or was really afraid of divorcing me.
I didn't say anything and he hugged me tighter.
"Wanda, for the sake of the baby, please forgive me this time. After she finishes the lawsuit, I will immediately draw a clear line with her."
I didn’t expect that the fruit of our love would now become a tool to kidnap me.
I didn't say anything, but I didn't struggle anymore, and finally I compromised.
After waking up, Nancy shouted Raymond's name loudly in the room.
He took my hand and walked out, and I could clearly feel her eyes on both hands.
"Ray..."
She strode up and hugged my husband.
Pushing us aside without leaving a trace.
"I’m so scared. I won’t be able to see you again. I’m really scared..."
He glanced at me and his arms stopped in the air, not knowing whether to hug me or not.
"You said you would never leave me, does that still count? "
Nancy raised her pitiful little face and asked stubbornly.
Being left aside by her, I didn't say anything, just looked at Raymond quietly.
"We are already over. You should wake up. I will ask the lawyer to find a solution for his domestic violence. Please let me go."
He just gave her a light push and Nancy immediately fell to the ground. With her previous injuries, she looked like a broken doll.
"Is it because of her? Ray, you clearly said..."
Nancy, who was sitting on the ground, was speaking incoherently and was in a very bad state.
"She is not in good condition. I am afraid she might hurt you and the baby. I will send her back first."
