My Husband's Mistress Looks Like Me
Chapter 5
Pacey hold his breath, and for a moment it dawned on him that he was mistaken only for a second. When the woman raised her head, he already knew he had got the wrong person.
Farida Ross slightly raised her head, showing her deliberately decorated eyebrow. She was surprised and joyful: "Pacey...It’s you."
Pacey...
Somehow, there was a little bit of ambiguity in the air, especially when the affectionate woman slowly spoke out the man's name.
Carol noticed that Pacey had hold in his steps, and then she looked at Farida's pretty face. She smiled complacently: she was right. No man in this world did not cheat.
"Farida, what's wrong with you? It was you who begged me desperately that you need money for your badly diseased father. I kept you because I pity you. But you keep making trouble. If you offend the guests again, I won't keep you anymore."
Horror and fear flashed across Farida’s face. "Carol, I’m so sorry. But, but that man...he... he placed his hand on me, and I......"
Carol was unhappy about what she said: "What kind of place do you think our club is? Who do you think you are? If you want to make money and save your father, you have to risk everything. Since you are not willing to serve the customers, don't say that I leave you alone. Leave now. Hyatt is not for you."
Farida clenched her fists and bit her lip, with tears of humiliation in her eyes. "I, I...I understand," she said.
Before she left, she suddenly raised her eyes and glanced at Pacey again, as if she had gathered up all her courage. She said: "Pacey, will you...will you help me? I haven't...haven't been touched by anyone. As long as you help me, I... I am willing to repay you with anything."
Pacey did not answer her but did not refuse her either.
Carol is good at reading people’s faces. She immediately understood what is going on here. The reason she kept Farida was her good-looking face. And She knows that as a pretty woman, Farida must be unwilling to be at the bottom all her life. She would sacrifice herself at all costs, as long as she found her prey.
Customers who came to Hyatt are all prestigious figures. Even if she couldn’t force one’s wife to leave, it was good enough to become a mistress.
Carol smiled: "Mr. Pacey, you see..."
"You know me?" Pacey looked into Farida's eyes. They looked very much alike indeed.
Farida nodded shyly, "I'm a student at Squareburg University, one year younger than you and Sherry."
Pacey lifted her jaw and gently rubbed her eyebrows, "Want to be with me?"
Farida nodded with a little shyness.
A few seconds later, Pacey let go of her hand.
Farida’s face went pale. She thought she was refused.
"I take her with me."
Even the most heavenly melody was not as beautiful as his words.
Carol’s face lit up with pleasure. She gazed at the shy Farida with a deep look in her eyes. She said with a smile: "As long as you like her, Pacey. Please take care of Farida."
Pacey threw a card for her.
Carol gladly took it. "Farida, from now on, you must serve Mr. Pacey well. I have told you that you are a lucky girl. It's so lucky for you to be chosen by Mr. Pacey."
Compared to those old and fat men who looking for sadistic pleasure, a handsome and rich young man like Pacey was of course the best customer.
“It seems like Pacey is the lucky guy. He has a pretty wife who could help him in his career. When he had a successful career, his wife willingly retired to the home and became a good housewife. Thanks to her, our Pacey was able to be a hero in the outside world to rescue the beauty!. But I wonder what would Sherry feel if she found she was cheated?” Yann Moore sneered.
Pacey slowly straightened his cuffs and pulled Farida over incidentally. His bony fingers lifted her hair. "Mr. Moore likes Sherry too, isn’t he?"
Pacey’s mouth raised a mocking smile. “...unfortunately, she is my wife, forever.”
