My Boyfriend Killed My Whole Family
Chapter 3
I snapped her, and my anger was boiling in my heart.
My parents had been kind and simple their whole lives and had never done anything wrong. In our village, they were famous for being good people. Not to mention coveting Dixon's things, even if my father was on the verge of death, they had never thought of troubling him.
My parents-in-law had passed away with regret at this wedding. I would never allow Rachel to slander them again.
"Janet, what are you doing?!" Dixon's eyes were cold as he glared at me in displeasure.
When my parents and I were slandered, Dixon did not say a word. As soon as Rachel was wronged, he immediately came forward to scold me.
This was the man I had loved for seven years.
"Dixon, look! I must have hit the nail on the head."
Rachel covered her face angrily and glared at me. Then, she looked at Dixon and said coquettishly, "Dixon, my face hurts..."
Dixon's heart ached as he looked at Rachel's face. Then, he ordered me with a gloomy expression, "Janet, apologize!"
"Don't even think about it!"
I retorted without hesitation, my tone was resolute.
Dixon's eyes were cold. "Janet, don't make me angry."
In the past, I would do whatever Dixon asked me to do.
That was because I loved him and cared about him.
But now, there was nothing left for me to care about.
At this time, Rachel suddenly said angrily, "I don't need her apology. No one dared to hit me since I was a child. Dixon, I want her to pay me back double!"
Dixon glanced at me when he heard that and tried to signal me with his eyes to admit defeat.
I looked up at him, and my eyes was full of stubbornness.
Dixon saw that I was stubborn and wanted to teach me a lesson.
He signaled with his eyes, and two bodyguards immediately stepped forward and grabbed my hands, turning me into a lamb to be slaughtered.
Seeing this, Rachel smiled smugly. Without saying a word, she slapped me hard in the face twice.
In an instant, my cheeks turned red and hot, and blood oozed from the corner of my mouth.
However, Dixon continued to stand by and watch it coldly. "She's not feeling well because of illness. You shouldn't have bullied her."
My face did hurt, but my heart hurt even more.
When we first started dating, Dixon had told me that I was his woman and that he would protect me and not let anyone hurt me.
But now, in order to protect another woman, he let me be beaten this hard.
I suddenly burst out laughing.
And my laugh was so desperate.
Rachel was still angry after hitting me. She stared at my backpack with disdain.
"I'd like to see what you've stolen and hidden in your backpack!"
As she spoke, she reached out to pull my bag.
My parents' urns were in my bag. I would never allow Rachel to be disrespectful to them.
"Stop! Do not touch my bag!"
I began to resist violently and berated Rachel angrily.
"You are so resistant. It seems that you've stolen a lot of good things!"
Seeing that I was overreacting, Rachel became even more excited. She tried to pull the backpack off me with both hands.
