My Boyfriend Killed My Whole Family

What was supposed to be the happiest day of my life turned into a nightmare. At the altar, my ailing father handed my hand to Dixon, only for my fiancé to abandon me mid-ceremony after a single phone call. Left as a public laughingstock, the shock caused my mother a fatal heart attack, and my devastated father followed her. While I cremated my parents, Dixon was comforting his childhood sweetheart, Rachel, dismissing my tragic loss with a cold, unforgiving excuse.

Chapter 4

I was so anxious that I almost lost my mind. I kept resisting like I was crazy.

At this moment, I only had one thought in my mind, and that was to protect my parents' ashes.

Rachel tried for a while and couldn't move it. She gritted her teeth and unzipped my backpack.

Hiss!

As soon as the zipper was unzipped, the urn in the bag fell to the ground.

Accompanied by a crisp sound.

The urn was broken.

The ashes were scattered all over the ground, reflecting a pale light that stung my eyes.

I, who had been struggling violently just now, froze on the spot, staring blankly at the ashes on the ground.

My dad knew that he wouldn't live long, so he brought a porcelain jar from his hometown. He often smiled and told me that this porcelain jar was his lifelong treasure. If he died, I would use this treasure to store his ashes.

My parents loved each other for their whole lives. After they passed away, I put their ashes into this porcelain jar.

But now, the jar that my dad had treasured for a lifetime was broken.

My parents' ashes were scattered all over the ground.

Seeing that my backpack had been torn open, the two bodyguards could not help but let go of me.

I came back to reality and pounced on the ashes on the ground. My hands were shaking as I collected the ashes.

At this moment, I burst into tears.

"What? Why is it all lime?"

Rachel screamed in disappointment when she couldn't find the stolen goods she wanted to find in my bag.

Dixon was also confused and asked, "Janet, what the hell are you doing? Why are you treating a pile of lime as a treasure?"

My ears were buzzing, and I could not hear what they were talking about.

My heart ached so much, and my guilt spread like a hurricane.

I continued to collect the ashes and broken ceramic jars on the ground and put them in my bag.

Getting my parents into trouble and dying regretfully was already my greatest pain.

But now, I could not even protect their ashes.

I really didn't deserve to be a human being.

Tears kept falling from my eyes.

Rachel stepped forward and stepped on my parents' ashes. She asked speechlessly, "Janet, you have to know what you're doing. Don't you find it disgusting to cry in front of such a pile of lime?"

"Go away!"

I shoved Rachel aside and roared.

Rachel stumbled and fell backward. Dixon reacted quickly and supported her.

"Janet, you almost pushed Rachel down for a fucking pile of broken lime!" Dixon was very angry, "I must teach you a lesson today."

As he spoke, he took out his mobile phone and ordered coldly, "Zayn, cancel the wedding ceremony. Also, cancel the expert consultation of Janet's father."

On the other end of the line, Secretary Zayn paused for a moment and then stammered, "Mr. Garcia, Janet's father passed away on the day of your wedding!"

"Also, her mother had a heart attack because you left halfway through the wedding. She passed away on the day of the wedding."
