What was supposed to be the happiest day of my life turned into a nightmare. At the altar, my ailing father handed my hand to Dixon, only for my fiancé to abandon me mid-ceremony after a single phone call. Left as a public laughingstock, the shock caused my mother a fatal heart attack, and my devastated father followed her. While I cremated my parents, Dixon was comforting his childhood sweetheart, Rachel, dismissing my tragic loss with a cold, unforgiving excuse.

My Boyfriend Killed My Whole Family Chapter 1

My dad was so sick and still rushed from the hospital to attend my wedding.

At the wedding venue, my dad, with hot tears in his eyes, handed my hand to Dixon.

But because of a phone call, Dixon got rid of my hand and left in a hurry,

and I became the biggest joke.

My mom was so angry that she had a heart attack. She died before she could be sent to the hospital.

My dad was devastated and went with her.

At the same time, Dixon's beloved childhood sweetheart posted: “Coughing twice and someone immediately came running to bring me medicine, it's so nice to be spoiled!”

The attached photo was an intimate photo of the two of them.

I was trembling as I took a screenshot of the picture and sent it to Dixon questioning, “Is this your reason for leaving the wedding behind?”

It wasn't until after my parents' cremation that Dixon's response came back late: “We can have the wedding any day, but Rachel can't live without me.”

"Dixon, I'm breaking up with you."

Disheartened, I sent the last message to Dixon and then blacklisted him.

The first time I met Dixon was in the university library.

Under the setting sun, his side face glowing with his head down reading, and his unintentional smile made me fall in love with him at a glance, and I could not stop loving him.

Under my persistent pursuit, Dixon, the God's favored one, finally fell in love with me.

Our relationship lasted for seven years.

From twenty to twenty-seven, the seven most precious years of my youth were spent with Dixon.

Knowing that he had a weak stomach, I learned to cook according to his tastes and made him nutritious food for his stomach in different ways every day.

I knew that he liked independent girls, so I took on everything alone. From changing the light bulb to repairing the water pipe, from taking medicines when sick to going to hospital, I had never troubled Dixon once.

I had always been cautious and humble in this relationship, putting Dixon first. I thought that would make me Dixon's type.

However, it wasn't until I saw Rachel that I realized it was possible for a girl to pout in front of him.

It turned out that Dixon, who I thought was cold and didn't like to smile, also has such a tender soul.

At any time, a phone call from Rachel could make Dixon abandon everything and run to her.

Every time he would just say, "Rachel can't live without me."

I tried my best to not care about it, but it became an excuse for Dixon to take care of Linda again and again.

For Rachel's sake, he had interrupted the wedding without any hesitation, putting my parents and I in such an awkward situation.

My dad was already seriously ill, but in order to attend my wedding himself, he ignored the doctor's obstruction and endured the pain to support himself to come to the wedding venue.

His greatest wish before he died was to see me married to my beloved and live a good life.

However, this wedding, which our whole family had been looking forward to, became the funeral of my parents.

"Dad, Mom, I'm so sorry."

My tears dried up, but the guilt in my heart could not be erased.

I had let my parents down. I hated myself even more for being blind to love someone like Dixon.

Once you made this kind of mistake, you would regret it for the rest of your life.

I wiped the urns of my parents over and over again, and finally carefully put them into my bag.

I decided to take the ashes of my parents back to our hometown and let them rest in there.

As soon as I walked out of the house, I met Dixon and Rachel, who were talking and laughing as they walked toward me.

Seeing me carry my luggage out, Dixon's relaxed brows furrowed instantly. "It's just a wedding! We can hold it anytime. Now you are breaking up with me and running away from home? Are you done yet?"
