He Forced Me to Donate Blood to His First Love
Chapter 2
I had been married to Noah for three years.
And it had been exactly ten years since I fell in love with him.
Ten years ago, I was just an orphan living in a welfare house.
Noah accompanied Eva to volunteer in the welfare house, and I was immediately attracted to him in the crowd.
It was lucky for me that I joined Noah's family company in my first year out of college.
But Eva wasn't so lucky.
She had a hereditary heart disease and was in a car accident on the way to the hospital in an emergency.
Eva's blood type was rare, so it was not easy to find a suitable blood source for her in a short time.
As Noah's assistant, I was found to have a blood type that matched Eva's.
Noah used his marriage as a bargaining chip and asked me to donate blood to Eva.
I accepted it calmly and honestly did my part to keep her alive.
In the midst of it all, I became a substitute for Eva for three years.
Now, she had woken up. It was time I woke up from my beautiful dream.
Just as I was thinking, a warm body suddenly approached me from behind.
Noah was back.
"Didn't I tell you not to come back anymore?"
He leaned close to me and suddenly whispered icily in my ear.
"Noah, I..."
I covered my belly and looked up at him. He was well-dressed, but his lips were unnaturally rosy.
Suddenly, I felt nauseous.
Eva had been in a coma for three years. I didn't expect her to be able to make out with Noah when she woke up.
His kisses had always been passionate, and he wouldn't stop until the other party was out of breath.
Well, forget about the past.
Anyway, he won't belong to me soon.
"It's my home. Why can't I come back?"
"Your home?" Noah sneered and added, "The welfare house is your home."
His sarcasm hit the bottom of my heart, and the pain that had just been suppressed by medication came back to me again.
It was like someone was in there kicking and punching my stomach.
I looked up at him, gritting my teeth.
"What if I don't leave?"
"Don't leave?" Noah smiled and propped up his body, his eyes dangerous like those of a venomous snake.
"Move out by tomorrow at the latest. Otherwise, you will know the consequences."
After Noah finished speaking, he asked, as if remembering something, "What were you about to say just now?"
"No… Nothing..."
The hand on my abdomen slowly slipped and finally clenched the bedsheet.
I shook my head. He sneered, slammed the door shut, and left.
I clenched the thin fabric, enduring the urge to run after him.
I felt like there were thousands of needles prickling my body, making me breathless in pain.
Noah, I wanted to tell you that I was dying. Could you accompany me?
I wanted to say that I was pregnant with your child.
Perhaps it's a daughter you most look forward to.
But at this point, I didn't think any of this mattered anymore.
Waves of pain came from my heart, indicating that my life was coming to an end.
Heart failure! What a terrifying term!
It was terrifying enough that Eva almost lost her life three years ago because of it.
It was terrifying enough that I trembled all over and felt dizzy even lying in bed.
I knew I was not as lucky as Eva.
She had her parents to love her, and Noah was willing to give everything for her. Besides, there was me, a fool willing to prolong her life.
But I had nothing.
I was just a poor creature. I didn't have a father or a mother. Even if I died, no one would take a second look at me.
I suddenly remembered that I was about to die.
But I hadn't done what I wanted to do.
