Chapter 4

Seeing me, she asked hostilely, "Miss Hawk, what are you doing here?"

Troy was not here, and she didn't even bother to pretend anymore.

"It is okay. I don't want to pretend too."

I smiled at her and said, "This is my Honey's company. Of course, I'm here to deliver a loving lunch to my Honey."

Monica stepped closer to me angrily.

"Miss Hawk, haven't you caused enough trouble for Troy? Why did you come to pester him even after the divorce?"

My heart ached.

"Did I cause Troy to suffer so much?"

"But I don't remember anything."

To pretend to be calm, I retorted, "Miss Keith, my Honey and I haven't divorced yet."

"If it weren't for you pretending to have a car accident one moment and then standing him up the next, you two would have divorced long ago. You are shamelessly dragging it out."

"That's probably because I don't want to divorce him at all."

I raised my chin at her and said, "Miss Keith, whether I divorce my Honey or not is my own business. It's none of your business."

"You..."

"I advise you to mind your own business and stay away from my Honey."

Monica's face distorted as if she wanted to kill me with her eyes full of resentment.

But soon she relaxed, and the resentment in her eyes was drowned in tears.

She choked and said to me, "Miss Hawk, you are with Joe, and you aborted the child in your belly. You don't love Troy anymore. So, please. Let Troy be with me, okay? I will love him and cherish him."

While Monica was saying so, I saw Troy's figure through the reflective glass door.

I didn't expect Monica to act like a pretentious woman, just like she had done back then in school.

I would discourage her.

I deliberately imitated her and pretended to cry, saying, "Miss Keith, I beg you not to snatch my Honey. I will love him and cherish him more than you."

Monica was speechless.

She couldn't have imagined that I would do this. For a moment, she couldn't act anymore.

But in the next second, someone pulled me around with great force.

Troy looked at me with his eyes burning with anger, saying, "Jessa, what do you want to do?"

"Honey." I pretended not to sense his anger. Smiling sweetly at him, I held the thermos in front of him.

"Honey, look. I made lunch for you. It is all your favorite food."

Troy snatched the thermos and threw it into the trash can next to him. Then he pulled me towards the office.

"Bang!" The door was closed. He pushed me hard against the door.

"Honey, you hurt me..."

I looked at him with tears in my eyes. I was half acting and half speaking truly.

The man in front of me was handsome and eye-catching. He, who had an excellent body figure, was extremely pleasing to the eye, but there was a burst of chill all over his body.

At this time, admittedly, I was afraid of him. But to win him back, I had to force myself to put my hands on his neck.

Pouting and acting like a spoiled child, I said, "Troy, I'm sorry. Can you forgive me?"

Troy finally spoke aloofly.

"Do you still love me? Show me with your actions. Let me see how much you love me."

He pinched my chin with his slender fingers, sneering. Then he said, "Jessa, you may have forgotten that since Joe came back, you don't even want to sleep with me anymore. Do you still have the guts to say you love me? Aren't you afraid that Joe will be jealous when he finds out that you are hugging me like this..."

Before he finished speaking, I tiptoed and kissed his lips.

The gentle touch and the unique smell were all my favorites!

I knew that no matter what I said now, it would be useless. I could only prove my love for him with my actions.

And Troy, just like before, fell for me with just a slight touch from me.

After his body stiffened for a moment, he became like a fierce beast. Lowering his head and fiercely kissing me, he, who was passive, became the active one.

He kissed me as passionately and intensely as when we were in love. He wanted to swallow me whole.

I could feel that he still loved me.

No matter how aloof and harsh he was to me, he still loved me.

I was ecstatic, holding onto his neck with one hand and pulling at the buttons on his shirt with the other. I was planning to have a long-awaited reunion with him.
