Ex-husband, Please Don't Come Near Me! Chapter 1

When I woke up from a burst of heart-wrenching headache, I found myself lying in a bed in a hospital.

It was strange. I went to the civil affairs bureau with Troy to get married. "Why did I suddenly get injured and lie here down?"

As I was in doubt, someone held my hand with a big hand, saying, "Jessa, are you okay?'

I looked in the direction of the voice and saw that it wasn't my beloved Troy. Instead, it was Joe Lawrence, who had been pursuing me since high school.

Before I could figure out how he ended up here, the door of the ward was suddenly pushed open.

...

Troy walked in.

Wearing the same white shirt and black trousers as when we had left, he looked plain and yet elegant, but he looked strangely aloof.

Without thinking too much, I let go of Joe and instead grabbed Troy's clothes corner, acting coquettishly.

"Troy, why did you come so late? It hurts so much..."

Troy glanced at Joe in the front of my bed and pulled my hand off his clothes.

"Your little injury isn't serious. Let's schedule a new time to get the divorce certificate."

"What?"

I thought I misheard.

"Shouldn't we go to get the marriage certificate? Why did it become like getting a divorce certificate?"

"Is it a slip of the tongue?"

"Can we do it tomorrow?" Troy looked at me expressionlessly.

"Of course we can." I couldn't wait.

Being able to marry Troy had been my wish since I was a child. Let alone tomorrow, I could go with him now.

"Okay, see you tomorrow."

Troy didn't look at me again as he walked towards the door.

He was so indifferent that I couldn't figure it out.

I had never seen him like this before.

By the time I reacted, he had gone far.

I shouted angrily towards the door, "Troy! Are you just leaving like this? Your fiancée had an accident, and you don't even stay to take care of her?"

"Jessa." Joe, who had been silent, gently pulled me and said, "The doctor said you had amnesia and had forgotten many people and things."

I was stunned.

"Do I have amnesia?"

"And I have forgotten many people and things?"

I picked up the cell phone on the desk and checked the time... It had been five years since I married Troy.

"So not only did I marry Troy, but our marriage came to an end?"

Joe told me everything.

I knew that Troy and I had been on bad terms for the past five years. Recently, I even caught Troy cheating on me and hooked up with his secretary. I, who had been holding back my aggrievance, couldn't control myself anymore, leading to a divorce.

On my way to getting a divorce, I had a car accident.

I was both shocked and skeptical.

I met Troy in college. At that time, he was excellent and low-key, a god-like figure that girls admired but couldn't reach.

I fell in love with him at first sight, just like countless other girls.

But I was more blessed than those girls, as I successfully won him over after pursuing him for almost half a year.

After being together with me, he didn't talk much.

But he had always been good to me, spoiling me.

He could accommodate me in anything I liked to do, anything I liked to eat, and any kind of entertainment activities I liked.

He was aloof. No girls in the whole school could get close to him except me.

No other girl could hold his hands, hug his waist, or kiss his lips.

Even at the graduation ceremony, he only took photos with me.

He was such a perfect boyfriend. No way that he could have constant conflicts with me and cheated on me after marrying me

I didn't believe it.

To figure out the situation, I left the hospital regardless of my injuries and went to Troy's temporary residence.

It was said that after he decided to divorce me, he voluntarily moved out of the marital house and moved to a temporary residence.

When I arrived, Troy happened to have returned from outside.

Besides the black car, he was as noble, elegant, handsome, and charming as always. The woman he was hugging out of the car was beautiful.

I just didn't expect that woman to be Monica Keith, the campus belle of our school back then.

The campus belle, who had been pursuing him for four years, had now become his secretary.

No wonder he would cheat on me.

As they looked at each other, I saw a burst of chilling coldness in Troy's eyes.

I was heartbroken. My hands and feet were cold.

But I walked towards the two of them slowly.

Troy saw me approaching and asked me indifferently, "Miss Hawk, what are you here for?"
