After Morning Sickness: My Ex-boyfriend's Plea for Reunion
Chapter 4
"Damn it!" I couldn't help but curse aloud.
As I was reflecting on everything, it was impossible for me to reconcile the image of Liam with that of a wealthy young heir.
It wasn't that he wasn't attractive; it was just that he was so down-to-earth he didn't fit the image of a high-society playboy at all.
The thought of my unborn child and the looming interview made my head spin.
I wondered, If he really is the one I'm supposed to be covering, can I honestly stay calm and write a piece about him being all lovey-dovey with another woman? Can I report live from his wedding to someone else? What is this, bringing my child to his father's and stepmother's wedding? No, Leah isn't even a stepmother. The moment this baby is born, it'll be branded a bastard.
The thought of it sent chills down my spine.
But the trouble didn't end there. Liam's fiancée, Leah, had set her sights on my baby.
