When I Love You, The Emotion Is the Most Pure

In the evening, I returned to the dormitory and saw my roommate, Elodie Clemens, eating potato chips and staring at her phone.

Maybe she was obsessed with some cute boys again, I supposed.

When she saw me coming back, she ran to me and said, "Charlotte, Patricia seems to be in love."

"Oh, it's none of my business!"

I wasn't interested, so I reached out and took some potato chips from Elodie.

Elodie fangirled so hard that her saliva even dribbled. "It seems that her boyfriend's last name is Maxwell whose family is super rich. She even showed his photos. Oh my god, he is so handsome! No wonder she has been strutting these past two days."

I paused while chewing potato chips.

Patricia's boyfriend had the same last name as one friend of Jake's.

Benjamin Maxwell and I could be considered childhood sweethearts, but he was six years older than me.

I heard from my parents that my family and the Maxwell family had agreed to the arranged marriage for their children so that the two families would be bound.

Unfortunately, Jaqueline gave birth to a son first, and Benjamin's mother also gave birth to a son.

Later, I was born, and the two families decided to fulfill the marriage agreement they had made that year. When I graduated from high school and entered college, Benjamin and I would get engaged.

So Benjamin naturally became my future fiancé.

Because of the last name, I asked curiously, "What does her boyfriend do?"

"Business man or some thing. I'm not sure about that. Here's her boyfriend's photo. He's stunning. Only if he could be my boyfriend!"

Elodie excitedly opened her phone and showed the photo to me.

When I saw the photo, I was stunned because it was my future fiancé!

"How did he become Patricia's boyfriend?! Am I being cheated on?" I thought.
