I didn't say anything, but forcefully pried open her hand holding mine.

"I don't make a scene, but I'm more serious than ever."

Faye looked at her hand that was pulled away, a layer of gloominess covered her eyes.

"Ryan, I will pretend that you didn't say what you said today."

I couldn't take it anymore.

"Who are you trying to show this deep affection to all of a sudden? You don't like me, but you want to marry me. Faye, who do you think you are?"

Faye had never been shouted at in public before. Her face darkened, and her tone became extremely cold, "I have already apologized to you, what else do you want? Zion and I are just siblings. Don't compare yourself to him. The feelings are different, and... the one who will get hurt will only be you."

Zion was brought into the Lewis family by Faye's stepmother and was considered a nominal sibling.

Faye doted on him so much that I, as her fiancé, couldn't find a point to overly blame her even I had some objections.

They were siblings, so Faye unconditionally stood on his side. People would only say that siblings had a deep bond and made fun of me for thinking too much.

But was I really thinking too much?

How could a brother ask for hugs, love and everything from his sister every day?!

Zion's possessiveness towards Faye was terrifying, surpassing that of siblings.

I used to love Faye and could force myself to endure it.

But now, I didn't love her anymore. I just felt disgusted.

I nodded indifferently. Anyway, I was ready to leave Birmingham, so I didn't care what she said.

Faye was angered by my reaction. She threatened fiercely, "Ryan, don't make me angry anymore. Don't you want imported medicine anymore?"

"I don't want it anymore," I said lightly.

Taking advantage of Faye's stunned moment, I quickly shook off her hand and walked further and further.

Faye was restless and had a gloomy face.

She unconsciously touched the fingers that had just touched my wrist, always feeling that there was something she was about to lose forever.

Faye dialed the assistant's phone.

"Deliver a month's quantity of medicine for Ryan's family, and be quick."
