The Mysterious Identities of Both Are Unraveled Chapter 1
"How can I tactfully tell him that I am a relocated household?" I thought.
Later, my boyfriend told me that he was worried about how to tell me - "He is the son of a real estate tycoon."
It was outrageous!

"Shelly! Our house is being demolished!"
As soon as class was over, I received a call from my dad.
I was instantly moved to tears.
"It's not easy." I thought. Our old house had gone through countless difficulties and would finally be demolished!
"Dad, how much can our family get?" I looked at my boyfriend, Easton Lawson, who was waving at me under the shade of the tree, covering the phone and asking in a low voice.
"I estimate that we can get fifteen or sixteen apartments after they demolish our house," My dad's hearty voice boomed through the phone."
My eyes widened, and I was shocked, "How many?"
Perhaps my voice was too sharp, and Easton looked at me with some confusion at my excitement.
I quickly suppressed my excitement and gave a very calm look, "Okay, I got it. You can discuss which apartments will be transferred to me with my mom."
After speaking, I hung up the phone and happily hugged my boyfriend's arm.
"What's up, Shelly? Why the big smile today?" Easton turned to face me, a soft, warm smile playing at the corners of his eyes and lips.
"Easton..." I looked at him and silently marveled, "My boyfriend is absolutely gorgeous! It's just that his family background is on the simpler side. I've heard his parents are blue-collar workers, dedicated to their jobs in construction. But it doesn't matter. In the future, I will support him!"
"Easton, can I support you when I have money in the future?" I gently tugged at Easton's arm and acted coquettishly towards him.
Easton paused suspiciously, silently lowered his head to look at me, and then a hint of a helpless smile appeared in his eyes, "Okay when you have money, support me."
I smiled, starting to plan how to support Easton in the future.
Although our old house was dilapidated, it had many rooms and large areas.
Whether they compensated us with the house or gave us money, it was a great fortune.
I had already discussed with my parents that whether they subsidized the apartments or money, I would receive a share, which would be credited promptly.
"If my parents give me five apartments, I plan to rent out four of them and choose one that suits my preferences best as our wedding home, so that Easton can save considerable expenses. Not only do these apartments come with no mortgage, but after we marry, we'll only need to worry about daily expenses, and eventually, we'll also be able to provide for our children's needs." I thought.
Just thinking about the beautiful life with Easton in the future, I couldn't help but blush and cover my face. Just the thought of it made me so happy!
"Shelly? Are you okay? Why is your face so flush?" Just as I was immersed in my fantasy, Easton suddenly grabbed my shoulder and looked at me anxiously.
I was stunned and instinctively touched my cheek. "Sigh... it was really hot. No need to think; my face must be all red now."
"I'm fine. It's just a bit hot today." I pretended to fan myself with my hand.
Easton remained silent for a moment, his gaze fixed on me, who was bundled up tightly in a scarf and a bulky coat, which seemed a bit odd.
"What the hell?" I thought. "I made a mistake and forgot it's winter now."

After having lunch with Easton, I was still very excited when I returned to the dormitory.
After all, someone who had been poor for so many years might not be overwhelmingly excited, to the point of confusion, if they suddenly acquired money and multiple apartments one day.
My roommate, my best friend, Mary Jeffrey, knew about my family's demolition because her house was next to mine.
My house was demolished, and hers was too.
Wow, two relocated households had come together.
Mary rested her chin on her hand and looked at me thoughtfully, excitedly.
"Shelly, did you tell Easton about the demolition of your house?"
I shook my head and said, "No, I just told Easton that if I have money in the future, I will support him."
Mary was speechless.
Rubbing her forehead somewhat helplessly, she murmured, "Should I say that you are too naive, or should I say that you are too innocent?"
I was speechless.
"Actually, come to think of it, is it because there's not a huge disparity in your families' current financial situations that you're with Easton now?" Mary patiently prompted me. "Now that your family has been relocated, your economic standing has undoubtedly risen significantly, whereas Easton's family remains unchanged. Should the wealth disparity become too pronounced, it may pose challenges to maintaining a harmonious relationship."
I looked at Mary, wanting to say something but hesitated.
I shouldn't have let her see those inexplicable things on video platforms.
"My dear, the issue of the wealth gap and the matching of social status between families is indeed quite significant." Mary looked at me with disbelief and indifference, sighed deeply, and advised me earnestly. "Don't be skeptical. How many people have had bad endings in their marriages because of the huge wealth gap?"
I blushed, covering my face with my hands, and stammered, 'Oh, we haven't even crossed that bridge yet! Talking about marriages already, it's so awkward!'"
Mary was speechless.
Mary rolled her eyes and finally ignored me, turning around and leaving.
I stayed alone in the dormitory, staring at the empty room and thinking back to what Mary had just said. "Well, there is certainly some truth to that. Even if I genuinely don't mind Easton's family's financial situation, and even if I can support our future life independently, rendering his need to work obsolete, the question remains: Is Easton truly content with that? He's a fiercely proud individual... Whether it's academics or any other endeavor, Easton strives to excel and be the best. His aspiration even extends to working in a state-owned enterprise. Now, I suddenly suggested that he no longer has to work hard. How could Easton possibly bear such a notion?"
I bit my lip, showing some concern. "How can I tell Easton about this without hurting his self-esteem and fully explaining the matter of my family becoming rich immediately? This is really a big problem."
