The Meddlesome Mother-in-Law
Chapter 6
The next day, after settling Houson, I arrived at the agreed location early.
It's dirtier here than I imagined, but it's also bigger than I imagined, with thousands of packages rolling off the assembly line.
The Richard gave me a tricycle, and he reminded me anxiously, "If you can't do it, let me know early."
He added, "After all, you women can't handle this kind of hardship."
I nodded and said, "Okay."
I struggled to ride the tricycle. Although I can ride an electric bike, it's my first time riding this kind of tricycle.
Especially when crossing the road, I had to look back and forth at the vehicles, and my palms were sweating.
But fortunately, practice makes perfect. As long as I slowly get used to it, it's no big deal if I ride the bike slower than others.
The packages on the bike were packed full because it was my first time delivering, and I didn't recognize many of the roads.
I started using navigation, but I found it too slow, so I decided to call Richard instead.
He was not annoyed by me and patiently told me how to safely deliver the express to the recipient and arranged the route, so as not to take the wrong way.
With his help, I barely finished delivering the goods.
I rode the car to the company, and when Richard saw that I had delivered all the goods, although he didn't say anything, his eyes showed approval.
