The huge inheritance of my third uncle
Chapter 1
My uncle, Caleb Moore, suffered a stroke that left him paralyzed from the waist down just as I received an opportunity to study abroad.
Caleb begged me to give his son my spot and stay to care for him, promising his entire estate to me in return.
I devoted all of my youth to caring for Caleb for twenty long years.
At his deathbed, he revealed his will, and shockingly, his son was named the inheritor.
I couldn't believe it and confronted Caleb loudly.
He simply retorted, "What are you to me? Why should my estate go to you instead of my son?"
Unable to bear the humiliation, I ran out of the hospital and was hit by a large truck.
When I opened my eyes again, I was back twenty years earlier...

"Is there a mistake with the name on this will?"
I asked him loudly in the hospital room as he lay dying.
Caleb coughed and looked at me with impatience. "Calm down. Of course, my estate should go to my son. What's wrong with that?
"You've taken care of me for twenty years, and I appreciate it.
"But who raised you after your parents died early? Don't you know?
"Don't you understand that it is very great of me upbringing you?"
His words left me speechless.
His son, Isaac Moore, sneered from the side. "Wesley, don't think I don't know what you're thinking.
"You've cared diligently for my dad for years.
"In front of others, you act like a devoted person.
"But really, you're just after my dad's estate!
"Do you think that's even possible?
"Look in the mirror and see what you really are!
"My dad's estate would rather go to a dog than to you!
Listening to Isaac's heartless words broke my heart.
I had given up my best years and all my youth to care for his father!
And all I got in return was being called worse than a dog!
What about him?
Over twenty years, I took over his duties as a son, he was free to travel and enjoy life abroad, even marrying a woman who had studied overseas.
In those twenty years, the number of times he visited Caleb wouldn't count on one hand, and even those visits were just to ask for money.
He never fulfilled his duties as a son.
While he lived freely, I was fully committed to caring for Caleb.
Because of this, several potential relationships ended as the girls disapproved of my responsibilities.
Once, I was close to marrying, but Isaac interfered desperately, claiming that the woman was not to be trusted and that she was greedy, vain, and deceitful...
He even told my girlfriend awful things about me, falsely accusing me of cheating with another woman...
He single-handedly ruined my chance at marriage.
I thought, "So here I am, still single because of him!
Living such a miserable and desperate life!"
All of Isaac's happiness and good life were built on the foundation of my sacrificed youth!
All built on my suffering!
Anyone could judge me.
But not him!
I looked at Caleb again.
Seeing my gaze, he turned away, unwilling to look at me any longer.
I was utterly hopeless.
All these years, I gave up high-paying corporate job opportunities, several girlfriends, and nearly all my youth.
I did everything for him, from the most menial tasks to the essentials. I cleaned him, cooked, did laundry, all the thankless tasks.
And yet, all my sacrifices were less valued than Isaac, who didn't care about him at all and only cared about his own pleasures and asking for money!
In a fit of anger, I threw what I was holding to the ground.
I turned and ran out of the hospital.
A large truck hit me, sending me flying.
