Chapter 4

With my thoughts recovering, the first thing I needed to do was to save myself and Andy.

In my previous life, Andy died of kindness. Even after his death, he was accused of destroying my marriage.

Driven by guilt in my heart, I left Andy’s office and immediately saw Peter leaving alone, not intending to wait for me.

“Peter, where are you going?”

“Where else can I go? Just get off work. You hurry.”

Although Peter responded to me in front of colleagues, I could still hear the impatience in his voice.

I couldn’t figure out why he was so bored with me when we'd only been married for two years in my previous life.

It wasn’t until I was reborn that I realized he was fed up with me simply because he was having an affair.

After all, the grass is always greener on the other side of the fence.

I recalled the pain in the root of my tongue, suppressed the anger in my heart, and covered my stomach. “My stomach hurts. Can you help me make a copy of the documents and deliver them to Mr. Wilson’s office?”

With so many people in the company, Peter couldn’t refuse and took the documents from me with a dark face.

He was always a procrastinator. I watched him from the shadows and wasn’t angry that he didn’t wait for me after making the copies.

I knew the reason why he was like this. He definitely didn’t plan to go home.

I didn’t bother to expose him either. After all, in this new life, I only had boundless hatred for him.

I took out my phone and checked the time, which was not much different from the time when Andy and I left in our previous lives.

I just hoped that God would open his eyes and let my plan not go down the drain.

The visibility in a blizzard was no more than fifteen meters, and the speed was best kept between twenty and thirty miles per hour.

But I knew Peter well. He cherished his life but also pursued excitement, so he had to control his speed on the edge of danger.

According to his speed and the timing of the three traffic lights on the road, as long as he didn’t stop in the middle, even if he didn’t die, he would be crippled.

In the memories of my previous life, although Peter was going in the same direction as me, he was not going home, but was anxious to take advantage of my time to go home to be intimate with the other woman.

So, I am sure he won’t stop halfway.

Just when I was hiding in the dark, full of anticipation, Andy suddenly appeared. I was far away and couldn’t hear what they said, but I saw Peter turn off the engine and get out of the car, following Andy back to the company.
