Chapter 5

My elaborate plan was ruined, but I couldn’t hate it.

After all, besides being unaware, Andy was a victim like me in my previous life.

I was curious. Andy was a good boss. He always advocated finishing work early and leaving on time. He had never asked us to work overtime.

Even in my two lifetimes, this was the first time I’ve seen him stay with the employees after work.

It was snowing heavily now. I couldn’t catch a taxi like in my previous life when I went out, so I followed them quietly.

Andy took Peter directly to his office, closed the door, and pulled down the shutters without giving me a chance to peek. I have no idea what they said.

But when they came out, Peter looked a bit down.

When Peter saw that I hadn’t left, he suddenly rushed towards me fiercely.

“Emma, do you want to divorce me?” He said angrily.

I was shocked by his words and instinctively shook my head.

Divorce was not the best option now. If I couldn’t kill him, I would let him feel the suffering of online bullying at least.

But Peter obviously misunderstood. He pointed at me and said through gritted teeth. “If I find out that you’re reporting to the boss about me again, I’ll divorce you!”

After he finished speaking, he originally wanted to pick up the folder next to him and throw it at me, but he caught a glimpse of Mr. Wilson and held back.

“Let’s talk about it when we get home!”

After Peter left, I became even more puzzled. Could it be that Andy knew about the things I helped Peter with before?

But it shouldn’t be like this. In my previous life, I always brought them home. Apart from Peter and me, there was no third person who knew about it at all.

It was precisely because of this that Peter was able to become the sales department manager.

I wanted to ask Andy, but there were thousands of words gathered in my heart. The only thing that came out was a simple apology.

“It’s okay, it’s not your fault.”

Andy’s words made me feel a bit confused. Especially when I looked into his eyes, I inexplicably felt that he was different from my previous life.

I couldn’t resist tempting, “Mr. Wilson, do you know about reincarnation?”
