The Dawn of Love Has Arrived
Chapter 3
"I slept on the sofa last night. Nothing happened between us. Are you not satisfied with my answer?"
I turned a deaf ear to his complaints and kept packing up my clothes.
I didn't want to argue with him.
He was the person I used to like.
If possible, I didn't want to make a scene.
But Mark didn't seem to think so. He looked at my suitcase and began to throw the clothes in it out.
I put things in, and he threw them out.
It kept going like this until Tanya was woken up.
She rubbed her eyes. She probably hadn't sobered up yet, and her voice still carried a strong nasal tone.
She acted like a spoiled child in front of him.
"Mark, what time is it now?"
Mark lowered his head and looked at his watch.
"9:45 a.m."
"Ugh..." Tanya paused for a moment and said, "I'm a little hungry. Take me to breakfast, Mark."
Mark was silent for a moment. He looked at the messy room before replying to her.
"Sorry, Tanya, I don't have time now."
"I have to tidy up the room."
When Tanya heard this, she suddenly sat up. I saw her looking at me. She stared straight at me for a long time before she suddenly smiled.
"Karla, you're back."
It was easy to tell the pride in her voice.
"Mark, you don't have to worry about Karla's jealousy."
"We can take Karla with us."
She sounded like I was the mistress.
But I was not in the mood to scheme against them.
Those who didn't belong to me would not want to be with me even if I took them back.
While Mark was not paying attention, I put my clothes in the suitcase again and dragged my suitcase out.
In a panic, Mark caught up with me and tried to snatch the suitcase away.
While we were fighting, I slapped him in the face.
The atmosphere became silent.
I roared at him.
"Mark! Do you have to make such a scene?"
"You don't like me..."
"Why don't you let me go?"
He probably didn't expect me to say that, so he was stunned for a second.
There was a palm print on his face. He was a little dazed as he said.
"It's not that I don't like you."
He thought for a while and said.
"Karla, if I didn't like you, I wouldn't have reacted like this."
"I will send you to the police station because of your slander of Tanya."
Hearing this, I felt sadder.
Sure enough, Tanya had the upper hand again.
I said, "If I told you that she lied to you and that I was the victim, who would you believe?"
Will you believe me?
If I hadn't experienced it, I would never have thought that I would be detained at the police station for such a strange reason.
It was not the first time that Tanya had coveted Mark. That day, when I got off work and walked home, she had been following me, asking me to give Mark to her.
I just wanted to laugh.
How could I give my boyfriend to her?
So, I told Tanya that I would never give Mark to her and that she could take him away from me if she was competent enough. I would never snatch him away from her.
Tanya thought for a while, but I ignored her and continued to walk forward. Then, I heard two screams behind me.
One was from Tanya, and the other seemed to be from an old lady.
I turned around and saw an old lady lying on the ground, bleeding.
Tanya stood still in horror, and people gradually gathered. Suddenly, she widened her eyes and pointed at me.
"Kayla? What are you doing?"
Her voice was shaking as if she was a frightened deer.
"This old lady was just walking. Why did you push her?"
"Do you know that this is intentional murder?"
The crowd was in an uproar.
