Robot: From Having No Emotions to Having Love
Chapter 5
"Enough, Apollo, what were you doing just now?"
When we arrived at the hotel, James scolded me.
I thought he probably figured out what I was thinking.
"I wanted to take Sophia away. She doesn't belong here. You know, she has an ambition."
I took Sophia's ambition as an excuse.
I opened the heavy suitcase and looked at the photos of me and Sophia inside.
I was slumped on the bed, memories about Sophia constantly flashing through my mind.
We had picked up scattered flowers in the rain and admired the rising sun.
All the past was deeply engraved in my heart, and I couldn't believe that Sophia could easily give up.
"Apollo, you're just a robot. Look, Sophia is already aging, but you are still the same as before. You can't overcome it." James persuaded me.
James' words pierced my heart.
As he said, we used to be the same age. But now we looked like siblings. In the future, we might even be grandmother and grandson.
As they say, Sophia was born before me, and I was born when she was already old.
"I understand, James." I gritted my teeth and said, driving James out of the room and squatting alone in the corner.
If one day I could shed tears, did that mean I was a human?
But I really couldn't let her go.
My program ordered me to protect Sophia. So I couldn't leave her forever.
