Chapter 3

"Just sign it. It's selfish not to let go of such a handsome man. I know you work so hard to chase after him in the first place, but you're doomed to end up with a divorce. So don't ravish him against his will."

The staff kept looking at the three of us with a gossiping expression. Noticing that I had been quiet, they looked at me in a scrutinizing manner.

I knew what this look meant. They thought my appearance didn't match Pierre's handsome face.

I looked up and glanced at the badge in front of her, and said lightly.

"Are you speaking on behalf of your department? Aren't you afraid that I will complain about what you just said?"

"I didn't say anything. If you've made up your mind, just sign it quickly."

The staff immediately shrunk their necks and went back to their workstations, pretending to be busy.

"Elaina! I don't have time to waste with you. You have to sign today even if you don't want to!"

"Be calm. You look really ugly when you're so furious. I want to revise the divorce agreement, otherwise, I won't sign it."

Pierre seemed to breathe a sigh of relief and asked.

"What do you want?"

Jazlynn also looked at me with a guarded expression.

"I want half of your property, and I also request financial compensation. Well, I think our daughter should stay with you."

No one wanted such a ruthless daughter!

Whenever I thought of Alisha, I felt disappointed.

In my previous life, I worked day and night to support her education and send her to university. But how did she treat me? She was truly ungrateful.

Pierre and Alisha were both ungrateful people.

I didn't want either of them anymore, and I wouldn't let them off easily, including Jazlynn, the mistress.

"Half? That's a lot! In our eight years of marriage, have you earned any money for the family? You've always been spending my money, and now you're saying you want half. You've gone mad!"

When Pierre heard that I changed my mind and wanted half, he was so angry that he started cursing at me.

He no longer had the gentle and refined demeanor he used to have.

Jazlynn furrowed her eyebrows and her eyes were full of anger.

The staff members also leaned in to watch.

I ignored the three of them, reached out and touched my hair, and said slowly.

"If you don't agree, I won't sign. Let me remind you. If I sue you for cheating in marriage, you will have to give more than half!

"I have plenty of time to go through all the procedures. If you don't give it, then I won't sign."

Jazlynn became anxious and pulled Pierre's hand. I knew that Jazlynn was more anxious than me. She was pregnant and would give birth in a few months.

After thinking about it, I thought half of the property seemed not that enough.

"Alright, I'll give it to you. Half of it, okay? I can't believe you're so ruthless."

"You flatter me. Come over and sign now."

I looked at Pierre's reluctant appearance and felt satisfied.
