Behind the Poison Killing: The Secret of Husband’s Infidelity Chapter 1

After my husband Pierre Cohen cheated on me with my best friend Jazlynn Pineda, I left with only my daughter Alisha Cohen.

I had two jobs a day to finally support her through college.

However, on the day of my daughter's graduation, my ex-husband and my best friend poisoned me. It was my daughter who bought the poison!

My daughter said that if I hadn't taken her away that year, she would have lived in a great mansion and driven luxury cars with my best friend.

She blamed me for making her live as a poor person for fifteen years. She hated me.

When I woke up, I was back on the day of the divorce.

My husband regretted it.

"Pierre, what did you make me drink?"

Pierre had just forcibly held me down and poured a glass of liquid with a strange taste into my mouth.

As soon as I drank it, my throat started burning with pain.

"It's a poison, which Alisha asked her classmate to buy from the countryside.

"I was thinking that if you cooperate, I won't force you to drink it.

"Unexpectedly, you just won't give in! Where is the deed? We were once a couple. Just take it as a help for me."

"No way!"

Pierre forced me to have poison because I refused to give him the deed.

"You're about to die, so why are you hiding the deed? Give it to me."

Jazlynn sat on the sofa and spoke.

Since she entered the door, she had been acting like a bystander, watching Pierre harm me and Alisha mock me.

I could feel the tearing pain on my body, howling and looking at Alisha.

"Alisha, I am your mother. We have been living together for so many years, but why are you helping your father kill me?

"I am your daughter, but why did you treat me like this?

"If you hadn't taken me away when you divorced Dad and I had stayed with Jazlynn, I would have been the daughter of a wealthy family. Bailey Cooper has left me because of my family background, and he's dating a wealthy girl in our class! He doesn't love me anymore!

"It's because of you. You should have just lived your own life since you're so poor. Why did you have to make me suffer with you?

"I feel like I've been cursed for being your daughter!"

Pierre became impatient and started rummaging through the room.

"Stop talking to her and find where the deed is! Where did she hide? I can't find it."

I lay on the ground, curled up, and struggled to open my eyes to look at my daughter, whom I had raised with great difficulty and the man who had once said he loved me. They had become so strange and terrifying.

I struggled to prop myself up and crawled towards Alisha, only able to touch her pants leg.

"Alisha, please save Mommy. I'm in so much pain."

Alisha kicked me away and helped Pierre rummage through my wardrobe, throwing all the clothes on the floor. Finally, they found the property deed in the extra layer.

This house was left to me by my parents, and I never thought about selling it even though I had a difficult life afterward.

That was the only thing I left for Alisha.

The only valuable thing I had.

Alisha gave the property deed to her father, and Pierre finally smiled.

Once I got money after selling this house, my company would be saved.

Alisha waved at me and said.

"I'm going to attend the graduation party. As for you, by the time I come back home in a few days, you'll probably be dead. Don't worry. I've prepared a farewell letter for you. Goodbye."

Looking at their backs as they left, I fell into a coma painfully.

"Elaina? Elaina Obrien!"

I suddenly woke up and looked at Pierre in front of me, and then looked at the divorce agreement in my hand.

Was I back to life?

"What else do you want to do? Sign it now! We're in a hurry. Jazlynn has to go for a prenatal check-up later."

"I won't sign it."

I put down the pen and held my trembling hand.

As soon as I finished speaking, Pierre, the man who was about to become my ex-husband, lost his temper.

"What do you mean? Elaina, didn't we reach an agreement? Don't tell me you're regretting it now."
