My Wedding Scandal: Falsely Accused of Being a Mistress
Chapter 2
Lucas's thin lips were tightly pressed together. Lily smiled, affectionately linking arms with Lucas.
"Lucas, make her give up."
She slowly walked toward the nearest camera.
For some reason, I was panicked.
"Turn off the live stream! Turn it off now."
I shouted, ordering everyone to cut the power.
Unfortunately, they all looked at Lucas, not moving.
I was stunned.
They were hired by me, could it be that...
Sure enough, Lucas faced the camera and opened his photo album on his phone.
"Lily and I registered our marriage a month ago."
My heart skipped a beat.
I couldn't believe it and dropped the bouquet in my hand, wanting to walk over and ask for an explanation.
But my legs felt like they were filled with lead, and I could only stare at him.
"I know that bigamy is illegal."
Lucas swiped his phone.
It was the photo from when I found out I was pregnant a month ago and excitedly pushed for marriage.
Lucas directed the camera towards me, with an icy look in his eyes that I had never seen before.
"But Aria threatened me with the child's life, and I had no choice."
He spoke with grievance, clenching his fists tightly.
The guests below gasped in shock. They all turned to look at me in surprise.
My eyes reddened as I shook my head. I was about to tell Lucas he misunderstood.
But his next words shut down any chance I had to explain.
"Even though the child isn't mine, I couldn't bear to let it silently leave this beautiful world before it even arrived."
He spoke with emotional restraint. He looked up at the rapidly increasing viewers in the live stream, as if mocking himself, yet also relieved.
"Thankfully, Lily stopped me from going down the wrong path."
As he spoke, he took Lily's hand and placed a gentle kiss on the back of it.

Everything in front of me became blurry, and my heart seemed to stop beating.
The words "the child isn't mine" echoed in my ears like a curse.
For a moment, I couldn't think or respond.
The murmurs from the guests below grew louder.
There were accusations, curses, mockery, and insults.
I held the bouquet tightly. The thorns of the roses dug into my palm, but the pain in my heart was a thousand times worse.
Lily smiled triumphantly.
Her delicate face was in stark contrast to my swollen face.
I wanted to smile at Lucas. But as soon as I moved my face, it hurt so much.
"Is this what you really think of me?"
Faced with my question, Lucas sneered.
"You know exactly what you did that night at the resort two months ago."
He took a deep breath. He grabbed Lily's hand and walked away without looking back.
"Not saying it directly was me giving you one last shred of dignity."
I was struck dumb, collapsing to the ground in despair.
Two months ago, Lucas and I slept together after getting drunk at the resort.
I was certain that the person who spent the night with me was him.
But when I woke up, Lucas came rushing over from the next room, hastily putting on his clothes.
"Aria... Aria."
He averted his gaze in shock. He looked down with a hint of guilt, stumbling over his words.
"I..."
"It's okay, Lucas."
I endured the pain in my body and walked towards him.
"You're my boyfriend, and you'll be my future husband. Let's just consider it fulfilling marital duties early."
I smiled, trying to ease his unease.
After all, Lucas came from a scholarly family. He's even more traditional than I am.
After three years of dating, we had only held hands and kissed.
