Chapter 1

I had just driven the new car my friend gave me when it was smashed.

The person who smashed the car was Victoria Thorne's male assistant.

He shouted at me with a haughty look on his face: "Don't let me see you again, or I'll find someone to kill you, poor bastard!"

Victoria impatiently threw ten thousand dollars at me and said to me with disdain on her face: "Take the money and get out!"

"If you delay my blind date, I promise you won't live to see dawn."

I laughed out of anger and called Victoria's father directly.

"Your daughter told me You won't live to see dawn!"

"Your daughter's assistant said she wanted to find someone to kill me."

"Robert Thorne, your Thorne family is so powerful!"

On the side of the road, Lucas Black was holding a brick and kept hitting my new car.

As he smashed it, he cursed at me fiercely: "You dare to be so arrogant to me when you drive a broken car worth hundreds of thousands of dollars? Do you know how to write the word death?"

"If Mr. Thorne hadn't been busy today, I would have given you a good beating."

"You have to hold back even if you're not convinced. I smashed your car today to teach you a lesson. Don't let me see you again in the future, or I'll definitely find someone to kill you, a poor bastard!"

I stood beside the smashed car, frowned slightly, looked at the fierce Lucas, and then looked at Victoria who was sitting in the luxury car next to it.

Is she the blind date my parents introduced to me?

Isn't she said to be gentle and virtuous?

Why do I feel like Victoria is not the same person my parents described?

After noticing my gaze, Victoria, who was sitting in the luxury car, looked unhappy and snorted, "In Portside City, no one dares to compete with my car for the road."

"If I hadn't been busy today, I would never have let you off so easily."

"Take the money and get out!"

After saying that, Victoria took out ten thousand dollars and threw it at my feet, as if she was sending away a beggar.

This car of mine was given to me by a friend. Although it is not a luxury car, it is worth more than 800,000 yuan.

The car windows and lights were broken by Lucas using a brick. Even if they were to be repaired, it would cost at least hundreds of thousands of dollars.

I didn’t pick up the money on the ground. I angrily said to Victoria, “It was your car that scratched my car. Not only did you not apologize, but you also smashed my car without saying a word…”

Before I could finish my words, Lucas threw the brick in his hand at me.

The blow was so powerful that I quickly dodged.

The brick hit the roof of my car, leaving a dent in it.

If this brick hits my head, I will definitely be killed or disabled.

Before I could say anything, Lucas grinned and said to me, "It's your honor to smash your car."

"In this small piece of Portside City, you are the only young man who dares to yell for Mr. Thorne to apologize!"

"If you know what's good for you, get out of here right now. If you dare to talk nonsense again, I will break your legs right now."

I laughed out of anger.

I just returned to Portside City and encountered such a bad thing. I don’t know if it’s just my bad luck.

Before I could respond, Victoria, who was sitting in the car, said impatiently, "Don't waste time here, I have to rush to Sterling Manor Blind Date!"

"If you, a fool, delay my blind date, I promise you won't live to see dawn."

Lucas glared at me fiercely, with a tone of mockery and disdain, and said: "Mr. Thorne is in a good mood today, and he has already given you $10,000 in compensation. Don't be so shameless and keep pestering me!"

After saying that, without waiting for my response, Lucas got in the car and drove away quickly with Victoria.
