Mistaking the Rival as Husband After Losing Memory
Chapter 2
I stayed in the hospital for three days, and Walter took care of me attentively. He was meticulous and responsible.
Even the nurses in the hospital were amazed at our good relationship.
However, Walter was always shy.
I didn’t do anything to Walter, did I?
Walter would blush at any moment for no reason.
If one didn’t know the truth, he or she would think I had done something excessive to him!
I thought about it and finally found a reason. Maybe the hospital environment was unfamiliar to him, so he couldn’t relax.
Two days later, I was discharged from the hospital.
But I still couldn’t walk and had to rest for a while. Besides that, I lost part of my memory.
There was no way to solve it. I couldn’t be in a hurry.
When Walter carried me into the car, I noticed that his earlobes were red again.
I couldn’t help but laugh and whispered in his ear, “Why are you so easily shy?”
Walter stiffened. Then he put me down and ran to the driver’s seat as if escaping.
Huh?
I looked at Walter’s appearance and silently took out my phone to anonymously post for help.
[What should I do if my husband blushes easily?]
Soon, I received the first reply. [Tease and flirt with him!]
My eyes lit up. This reply was exactly what I wanted!
I clenched my right hand into a fist and encouraged myself.
“Kristy Moore, you can do it!” I told myself.
When Walter took me back home, I was stunned.
“Honey, why isn’t our wedding photo hanging in the living room?”
Walter hesitated for a moment and explained, “The wedding photo is in our marital home. This apartment is where I live by myself.”
“Ah?” I was a bit confused.
“But, haven’t we already gotten married? Why are we still living here?”
A trace of doubt rose in my heart as I focused on Walter’s expression.
Walter seemed a bit helpless and said, “We just got our marriage certificate and haven’t had the wedding ceremony yet. The original plan was to have the wedding these days, but you suddenly had a car accident, so I postponed the wedding...”
So that was how it was.
I lowered my head, feeling a bit regretful. If I had been more careful, I wouldn’t have had a car accident.
According to the original plan, maybe Walter and I would have already moved into our marital home.
Thinking like this, I waved to Walter.
“Honey, I want to see our new house!”
Walter replied with a forced calmness, “Okay.”
As he spoke, he took out his phone and flipped through the photo album. “These are the photos I took before. When you feel better, I’ll take you to the house.”
One of the photos in the album showed that our wedding photo was hung in the middle of the wall. It was particularly eye-catching.
Seeing this, I nodded in satisfaction.
Such a beautiful photo should be displayed prominently!
Not only that, I wanted to look at it every day!
I pointed to the photo and said, “Send me this wedding photo. We’re getting married, so we must have taken a lot of wedding photos. Send them all to me! I want to use them as my phone wallpaper and change it every day!”
I said happily, with a smug look in my eyes.
Walter looked so good that using his photo as a phone wallpaper was particularly pleasing.
I waited for a while and found that Walter had no movement and his face didn’t look natural. I asked, “What’s wrong with you?”
Walter sighed with difficulty and finally explained to me with a face of resignation.
“Kristy, this is the only wedding photo left. When we finished taking wedding photos, you were dissatisfied with them all and only kept this one. You thought this was the best one.”
As he spoke, he sent me the only wedding photo.
I looked at the wedding photo and then at Walter. Suddenly, I felt a little aggrieved and said, “But, how can there be only one wedding photo?”
Although the situation Walter described really seemed like something I could do.
Walter hurriedly comforted me, “It’s okay. Our wedding has been postponed. We can go and take another set of wedding photos. This time, we can choose the wedding theme carefully and take as many as you want.”
As soon as I heard this, I was overjoyed and said, “Then let’s go and take photos tomorrow!”
After losing my memory, I couldn’t remember the situation of the last wedding photo shoot, but this kind of thing should be a major event in life, so I should keep more memories.
Walter was a little helpless and said, “I’m afraid we can’t go tomorrow. We need to make an appointment before the shoot, and your leg injury hasn’t healed yet.”
He lowered his head and looked at my injured left leg.
I was instantly discouraged. Anyway, I couldn’t take wedding photos with an injured leg.
I should take care of my left leg first and take photos when it was healed.
Just thinking about the future filled with hope and sweetness, I felt like I had fallen into a honey jar, and all the gloom disappeared.
