8.0 / 10.0
Waking up with amnesia after a devastating car accident, my only clue to my past is a wedding photo saved on my phone. When the handsome man from the picture visits my hospital room, I immediately seek comfort in his arms, calling him my husband. However, his rigid reaction makes sense only when my aggressive ex-boyfriend arrives with a shocking revelation: the man I just embraced is actually my bitterest rival, and the wedding photo was a fake designed to mock him.

Mistaking the Rival as Husband After Losing Memory Chapter 1

I had a car accident and lost my memory, but I saw a wedding photo in my phone album.

When he came to the hospital to see me, I suddenly threw myself into his arms and cried loudly.

“Honey, I was scared to death!”

I was immersed in my sadness and didn’t notice that he was stiff all over.

Later, my ex-boyfriend came over and questioned me aggressively, “Didn’t you say he was your mortal enemy? And you even asked me to fake a wedding photo of you two to disgust him!”

What? I was so confused.

I lay on the hospital bed, listening to the doctor talking about my condition with a bewildered face.

I had a car accident.

Fortunately, besides a broken left leg, there was nothing serious.

Unfortunately, it seemed that I had lost some of my memories!

I took out my phone in confusion, trying to find my memories. The moment I opened the photo album, I fell into contemplation as I looked at a wedding photo.

Half a minute later, I realized that my husband and I were really a perfect match!

There was also a thoughtful line of small characters on the wedding photo, which was our names. My husband’s name was Walter Graham.

But I had a car accident, and why hadn’t he come to see me yet?

Just as I was complaining, the door of the ward was suddenly opened.

I looked up and found that the man standing at the door looked a bit familiar.

I looked at him, then looked at the wedding photo on my phone.

I looked at the wedding photo, then looked at him!

After repeating this several times, I finally confirmed that this person was Walter, my husband!

Walter walked towards me quickly.

I gradually became teary-eyed.

Before Walter could speak, I excitedly threw myself at him and he held me firmly in his arms.

“Honey, I was scared to death!”

Walter’s body stiffened and his voice trembled.

“What did you just say?”

I slowly raised my head from his embrace, my eyes turning red. It seemed that Walter was also quite scared and couldn’t even hear clearly.

“Honey, I thought I would never see you again. Luckily, I’m still alive!”

Walter paused for a moment and patted my back to comfort me.

After a while, he said, “I’ll go find a doctor. You lie down and rest.”

When Walter walked out of the ward, he looked back at me.

Unfortunately, I didn’t understand the complex emotions in his eyes.

After about half an hour, Walter finished communicating with the doctor and came back.

He sat there silently, holding his phone and texting.

I looked at him nervously.

I didn’t know how I managed to marry such a handsome husband. Now that I had lost my memory, would this affect our relationship and life?

After all, I couldn’t remember any of the sweet moments we had together.

This was probably a big blow to Walter.

I decided to take the initiative in this matter of love.

A husband cannot be let go!

“Honey,” I called out with some grievances.

“What, what’s wrong?” Walter stumbled and raised his head, a little afraid to look into my eyes.

As soon as I saw his state, alarm bells rang in my mind.

“Honey! Are you cheating on me with another woman behind my back?”

I shouted, scaring Walter so much that he almost threw his phone away. I continued to question him.

“Why are you so guilty?”

Walter put away his phone and hurriedly explained, “No, no, there has only ever been you.”

Seeing that the suspicion in my eyes hadn’t dissipated, he had no choice but to take out his phone and show me the message history from just now.

“I didn’t take good care of you, and I was apologizing to your mom, so I was feeling guilty...”

I was stunned for a moment, carefully staring at the profile picture on the phone for a while. It did seem to be my mother.

It was strange. I remembered clearly about my mother.

It was just a blank memory in my mind.

Then, my phone rang.

It was a call from my mother.

My mother first cried and sympathized with me, and then mentioned Walter, asking us to cultivate our relationship.

Cultivate our relationship?

I was a bit puzzled. Did Walter and I still need to cultivate our relationship?

Didn’t she see how sweet we were in the wedding photo?

Thinking of this, I couldn’t help but feel heartbroken again!

Before I lost my memory, we were indeed very sweet!

After losing my memory, I didn’t even remember my husband. I was the one to be guilty!

I reached out my hand to Walter and said, “Hug me.”

Walter sighed and hugged me, his voice full of helplessness, “What’s wrong again, my dear?”

I asked him softly, “Honey, I forget you, and will you think that I don’t love you anymore?”

Walter fell silent for a moment.

He playfully pinched my face and said, “Maybe God wants to give us a chance to experience love again.”

Why was Walter so considerate?

He loved me!
