From Virtual to Real: Marrying the Man Who Has been Online for Three Years

After three years of dating online, Joyce convinces me to finally demand a photo from my elusive boyfriend. When he repeatedly declines, I playfully tease him, asking if he is secretly a bald, middle-aged man. Instantly, my phone explodes with a barrage of photos showcasing his incredibly toned chest and abdominal muscles. Challenging me with a smirk, he asks if I am satisfied. Smiling, I text back that they look so perfect, the only way to believe they are real is to touch them myself.

Chapter 2

I followed her gaze and was stunned. The guy not far away was really Howard!

Obviously, he had also heard Joyce's voice. He happened to turn his head and look in our direction. After a while, he went straight to us.

Howard said, "Can I borrow your phone?"

He explained, "I got separated from my friend. My phone and bag are with him."

Joyce stared at Howard's handsome face for a long time. Seeing that the atmosphere was awkward, I quickly unlocked the phone and handed it to him. "Here you are."

Unexpectedly, as soon as he took it, he was stunned.

I thought to myself, "What's wrong? Is there something wrong with the phone?"

I popped my head out, and then my face had instantly turned red, after I saw what was on the screen. It showed the messages of me and my boyfriend, saying good night to each other affectionately. I closed that in a hurry. Howard chuckled and said in a low and pleasant voice, "You're quite cute.

  I mean you."

Seeing him talking on the phone, Joyce came to her senses and said, "I can guarantee that he must have a good impression of you! He praised you for being cute!"

I said, "It's obvious that he's just being polite, and I already have a boyfriend."

"He deceived you with fake photos! He must have lied to you about something else!" Joyce said angrily.

"Have you ever thought about breaking up with him?"

"I did want to break up with him at that moment..." Before I could finish my words, I found that Howard had come back.

He seemed to have been standing aside for a long time. He must have heard the conversation between me and Joyce just now.

At this moment, his eyes were focused and deep as he stared at me. There seemed to be rage burning in them. For a moment, I felt that I could see the possessiveness and stubbornness in his eyes. I was slightly absent-minded and couldn't help but say, "Howard?"

Howard looked away and looked at the claw machine in front of me. "Do you want this?"

"Are you good at it?" I asked with excitement.

"Not really." He inserted a coin into it, "But I can learn."

He was very so close to me that I could smell a woodiness fragrance from him. The scent of sandalwood mixed with the fragrance of vanilla, gave me a sense of calm and elegance. I liked the perfume best. For this reason, I specially sent a bottle to my boyfriend.

It just so happened that he was wearing the same perfume today.

Under Howard's sword-shaped eyebrows, his black eyes were narrow and long, which were rarely seen. His nose bridge was tall and straight, and his lips were slightly pursed. His expression was very serious, and he looked very handsome. Surrounded by the familiar fragrance, my heart beat faster.

At first, he was not very good at it, but since the sixth claw, he could catch the dolls every time!

He stuffed the corgi doll into my hand and said proudly, "It's very simple. Just a little time to find the tip."

After a while, my arms were full of all kinds of cute dolls. Seeing that he was going to continue, I hurriedly said, "Enough, enough!"

He was a little disappointed, "So quickly?"

I nodded. Then he asked me, "So we're friends now?"

I didn't know why he suddenly asked this question and looked at him with some doubts. Howard smiled and said, "I just overheard you talked breaking up with your boyfriend. What happened?"

I was confused. I didn't expect Howard to be so gossipy. After hesitating for a while, I said, "I don't want to break up with him."
