Love at First Sight, Let’s Get Married!
Chapter 2
I stared at Louis' message for a long time.
What did he mean by that? Was he serious or...
Before I could figure it out, Clara lightly patted my shoulder and said with a smile, "Don't worry, I've explained it to him."
My gaze fell on her phone, where I saw her conversation with her brother. She explained in a few words that it was just a dare. He replied with three dots, then asked where we were, followed by Clara sending our location.
I looked down at my phone.
My anxious heart finally calmed down.
Half an hour later, Louis and I sat side by side, not even a piece of paper could fit between us.
From this close distance, I could clearly smell the faint scent of mint on him.
Everyone else in the room was focused on the spinning green bottle on the table, cheering wildly, but my entire attention was on Louis.
Yes, Louis had arrived quickly and joined our game.
I couldn't help but sneak a glance at Louis, who was quickly typing on his phone. The dim light softened his sharp, handsome face. I whispered, "Louis, I'm sorry about before..."
I bit my lip and asked, "What did you mean by that message?"
He raised an eyebrow, about to speak, when the crowd cheered. I turned and saw the bottle pointing right at Louis beside me!
"Truth or dare!"
Oh, a good opportunity! I immediately sat up straight and stared at Louis.
He said, "Truth..."
As soon as he finished, Clara quickly asked, "I remember you said you have a crush. Who is she?"
My smile froze. He had a crush?
Louis said, "She's very beautiful and cheerful..."
Louis stared at me without blinking. My heartbeat quickened as he continued, "You all know her..."
"Ooooh!!"
The atmosphere heated up instantly. Gossip about Louis was rare, especially something this juicy. Everyone cheered, saying they had to find out who she was next time. My ears turned red from his gaze, and I couldn't help but wonder if the person he liked was me?
If it wasn't me, why did he stare at me when he said that? If it wasn't me, why did he respond the way he did to my message?
I couldn't let my mind wander. I stared intently at the spinning bottle, praying it would land on Louis again so I could ask him who he liked.
The green bottle slowed down, its pointing at Louis. Before I could be happy, it rolled slightly and pointed straight at me.
Damn!
I gritted my teeth. "Dare!"
These people were obviously drunk. If I chose the truth, who knew what outrageous and deadly questions they would ask. But I clearly underestimated their decency. One guy said, "Alright, then you and the last loser tie a cherry stem with your mouths!"
I was speechless.
The last loser was Louis. I stared at the short stem of the cherry in his hand, falling silent.
Damn! These guys were usually terrified of the aloof Louis, but now, they dared to do anything!
This high-difficulty dare might end up making our first kiss happen here!
