“Having a hard time there?” That comment snapped Mykel out of his thoughts, I press the button next to my calls and asked for an omega team to prepare two bedrooms one for Elder Pezi and the other for Mykel, ones I was assured it was taken cared of I stepped out of my chair. I walked out to the side where he was still sitting, his hand on mouth, eyes fixed on my phone and his other hand in his pocket.

“ Mykel, I am a good actor and even better Alpha, don’t worry too much about me and go get ready for your interview, see you tomorrow morning Alpha” I get off the side of the desk I was leaning on.

He says nothing, just gets up and walks out with a pace, I walk up to my house, I had the construction team of my pack do this, I have a very small pack but they are everything to me. I’m aiming to building up my pack, I need a good alliance but my human ambitions really did a number in that.

‘We can get mate, she can help us.’ Kai tells me knowing well I do not approve.

I open the door to my house after the hand print allows my entry, the house is all windows with the front having a dark gray color to help hold certain windows, my house is in a cave literally, the outs of it looks like a house stuck in the cave.

Ones in, there’s a stair case going downstairs where the pool, the guests with gaming area is and another one going upstairs where my bedroom with my office is, there’s extra two rooms for my future pups, my mates office as well as a mini kitchen, then there’s a direct line that heads to the main kitchen and living room, where there’s a fireplace out of stones.

The bottom bottom holds all my cars, the back is a clear beautiful view of the back forest, there’s a clearing then the entrance to the woods. My home is controlled by me, I can give access to others to enter or not, not even my current mate has access to the house.

Speaking of, where could she be. I go up to our room and as I open the door I see her sleeping in the bed, she is currently 2 months pregnant and I can’t wait to have my pup here.

‘She is not mate, that pup, I’m not sure.’ Kai rehearses his lines over and over again, never giving up on the idea that our chosen mate tricked him into going all the way with her.

‘At least we are having our pup you can’t deny me that old timer.’ I tell him as I pick some clothes to go to bed, I take a good time taking the dirt and sweat off my body, been training every week and I am so glad it’s Friday.

*BOOM*

The house starts to shake, I hold on to the tiles but slip and fall in the shower. ‘Callum! What is happening?!’ I mind link my Beta.

My chain of command is very tight and I don’t allow outsiders to talk to us like other Alphas do, I’m very protective of my companions.

‘The wall, it’s bombed it’s falling apart and Alpha, Rogues are heading this way! We are outnumbered! What do we do!?’ I can hear his panic and I can feel my own rising.

‘Get everyone to the bunkers, we need our warriors to defend the week, all omegas who don’t know how to fight, elders, children, pregnant women and those who are handicapped go in the bunkers, any she wolf that knows how to fight and any wolf as well goes to help our warriors, have the hospital ready for an attack.’ I mind link my beta.

‘On it!’ He cuts off the mind link and another shake goes in my house, I mind link my Gamma, he is the one who has the contacts of other packs who are our alliances.

‘Xandros, report to me this instant!’ I finish bathing and go out of the bathroom, I open the door and my mate is awake but puking in the small trash can, I go to hold her and rub circles on her back, I need to go and help my pack.

‘Yes Alpha? I’m contacting our neighbors for their support, so far we have the Paw Pack who will be here in 4 hours, the Silver Moon Pack in 6 hours along with the Red Moon, Moonstone and The Green Pack.’ Did my Gamma just said Green Pack?

I kiss my mates forehead and go to get my phone that’s in the bathroom when I feel something sharp from the back of my head, the last thing I saw was the bottles flying out, the cabinets opened up and stuff getting smashed on the floor.

*BEEP* *BEEP*

I try opening my eyes but close them instantly, the bright light of the room is piercing and it catches me off guard. My head hurts, as if someone hit me with a bat. I try again to open my eyes but I give up. Rather take my chances and rest.

‘Kai? Are you there? Talk to me old boy?’ I get no responses. I need to obtain my strength, my body doesn’t hurt just my ungrateful head. I need to stay sane. Whatever is going on might have to be put on hold, I close my eyes and turn to sleep after hearing the beeping my head was starting to hurt even more then it was.

My house was under lockdown and I remember that I had nobody in the house, my mate was sleeping then she was picking in the trash, what could have happened that I am now in this situation.

“Relax buddy, I have the pack secure with the help of the Elders, the other Alphas are getting here and Mykel is in the dungeons cellar till this mess is over, rest.” I hear Callum tell me and with that I rest, but what if my mate.
