Chapter 4

At the sight of me, Javion was stunned for a moment and subconsciously put Julia on the ground.

Julia almost lost her balance and fell to the ground.

She glared at Javion with dissatisfaction, saying, "Javion, can you tell me first before you let go? Do you want to kill me?"

"What nonsense are you talking about? How would I dare?"

Standing together, they looked like a real family.

Instead, I stood there like an outsider, watching the two of them have fun.

Seeing that I didn't say anything, Julia looked at me timidly.

"Robbie, don't get me wrong. Nothing is going on between Javion and me! He came to take care of me, fearing that something would happen to me."

I didn't say anything. Javion looked at me with hostility.

He seemed to be afraid that I would attack Julia, so he stood in front of her to protect her.

If it were in the past, I would definitely be jealous of his actions.

But now, I was relieved.

"There's no misunderstanding. It's his duty to take care of you. I have to leave now."

I calmly looked at the two of them and casually found an excuse before leaving.

"Javion, I think Robbie has misunderstood something. Why don't I go and explain it to her?"

Then, she trotted all the way to catch up with me.

She pulled me to a nearby garden and carefully glanced at me.

"Javion, don't come over. I want to talk to Robbie alone."

Despite disliking her, I still asked patiently, "What do you want to talk to me about?"

...

She whispered in my ear, "Do you have cancer?"

I looked at her in shock, asking, "Did Javion tell you?"

"Of course not. Robbie, why are you so stupid? I saw you in the hospital!"

Only then did I realize that Julia was the reason why Javion didn't believe that I had cancer.

Before I confessed to him, she had told him that I had found a doctor in the hospital to forge a cancer test report.

That was why he looked at me so meaningfully upon hearing that I had cancer.

Looking at her face, I suddenly felt that she was scary.

She did such a thing for a man.

"So you don't suffer from any depression, right?"

"Yes! But Javion only believes in me!"

It was just as I thought.

She had been acting like she had depression.

"So aren't you afraid that I'll tell Javion about this?"

"Robbie, do you think he will believe you?"

"Yes!"

"He doesn't believe me!"

At this time, I had to admit it even if I didn't want to.

However, none of that mattered anymore.

My stomach churned again.

For a moment, I was in so much pain that I couldn't straighten up.

Just as I was about to rummage through the bag to get painkillers, Javion suddenly ran over and stood in front of Julia. He looked at me warily.

"Robbie, what do you want to do to Julia?"

I was in so much pain that I didn't have the strength to reply to him. I just wanted to find some painkillers as soon as possible to relieve my pain.

After rummaging through my bag for a long time, I couldn't find anything. In the end, I could only throw everything in my bag onto the ground.

I finally found the painkillers!

I hurriedly picked up the painkillers from the ground and took them. In the next second, Javion snatched them away.

"Robbie, I've underestimated you! To convince me that you're sick, you've put on such a good show."

After taking the painkillers, I felt less uncomfortable in my stomach!

There was a surge of fishy sweetness in my throat again. I didn't want to make myself a laughingstock in front of them. So I tried to suppress it.

"It's none of your business!"

The moment I turned around, I couldn't help but spit out a mouthful of blood.

"Robbie, to make me sympathize with you, you worked hard. You even got a fake blood bag!"

Although I didn't turn around, I could sense how indifferent he was.

The two of them were further and further away from me. My vision blurred.

Finally, I couldn't hold on any longer. Then I collapsed.
