Chapter 2

In the end, he left me alone at home.

I sat alone on the sofa, and my mind ran wild. My stomach was churning. It hurt so much that I almost couldn't breathe.

The physical pain was nothing compared to the pain in my heart!

I curled up on the sofa. It was unknown whether it was because I was sleepy or because of the pain that I fell asleep.

When I woke up again, he was sitting by the bed and looking at me gently.

It was as if nothing had happened last night.

Seeing that I was awake, he quickly brought me my favorite sandwich.

My stomach was still throbbing. I suddenly didn't want to talk to him.

Javion looked beat up, furrowing his eyebrows tightly. There was a layer of dark circles below his eyes.

Seeing that I didn't want to talk to him, he frowned helplessly. He looked like there was nothing he could do.

"Honey, are you still angry with me? It's my fault. Don't be angry, okay?"

He reached out to intend to pull me into his arms, but I dodged him subconsciously.

"I'm not angry. You must take care of your childhood sweetheart."

He looked even more helpless.

"Honey, I know you're angry, but can you see things from my point of view? My childhood sweetheart is going to commit suicide for me. If I don't care about her, won't I be too cruel? Are you going to make me such a heartless person?"

"Honey, I'm so tired. I haven't slept for two days and a night. Don't you feel sorry for me? Don't mess with me, okay?"

Hearing his words, I was disappointed.

He was accusing me of being insensible.

"So in your heart, I'm an unreasonable person, right?"

My stomach throbbed in pain again. It hurt so much that I gasped.

Javion didn't notice my abnormality. He yawned and smiled cheekily before brushing me off.

"Of course not. You are the most reasonable person in the world, so you will understand me, right?"

I was in so much pain that I couldn't make a sound. Beads of sweat appeared on my forehead.

Javion didn't notice my abnormality. He threw me a kiss wearily.

"I have been busy all night. I'm so tired and sleepy. I'm going to bed now!"

After that, he didn't give me another look as he went straight back to his room. Then he closed the door.

I curled up on the sofa alone. With my trembling hands, I pulled out the painkillers from a drawer and swallowed a pill. Only then did the pain subside considerably.

However, I soon felt a surge of intense pain again.

Feeling the intense pain in my stomach, I suddenly felt a burst of fishy sweetness in my throat. Then I couldn't help spitting out a mouthful of blood.

When the pain subsided, I quickly got up and went to the bathroom to clean up.

Recently, my stomach ache had become more and more intense. Even the painkillers prescribed by the doctor had little effect.

My life should have been at the countdown period, so I should cherish the rest of my life even more.

After calmly cleaning up the house, I decided to have a good talk with Javion after he got up.

As for what happened yesterday, I didn't want to haggle over it.

After all, to a dying person, to be happy mattered the most.

"Let bygones be bygones! I just want to live a good life in the future."

After Javion woke up, he left in a hurry again.

This time, he even forgot to say goodbye to me before going to Julia's house.

He abandoned me again for Julia.

Suddenly, I felt a little sad.

It seemed that we had gone back to the time when Julia had lied to him and tricked him into going to her.

At that time, he ignored me for Julia's sake.

Thinking of everything that had happened before, I suddenly wondered if Julia was pretending to be sick again.

After all, in the past, she often used the excuse of being sick to make Javion take care of her.

When Javion came back again, it was already midnight.

He looked even more tired and listless than before.

I took out my stomach cancer test report and spread it out in front of him.
