Chapter 1

On the day of her daughter’s third birthday party, her husband tied her up and threw her into the venomous snake enclosure in the zoo.

Just because his canary was kidnapped.

Alexander Sterling insisted that I had someone do it.

He grabbed my neck tightly:

"Didn't I warn you not to touch her? But you turned a deaf ear to my words!"

"In that case, let your daughter experience the consequences of hurting her for you!"

After saying that, he waved his hand and countless giant pythons crawled out from all around. They wrapped around his daughter's body and surrounded her.

I was so scared that I knelt on the ground, kowtowed, and begged desperately.

"Alexander, I was wrong... I was wrong. Emily is still young, she is only three years old. She is most afraid of snakes. Can you let her out? I promise to stay away from you and Isabella Romano from now on and never disturb her again!"

But Alexander sneered:

"That's just the beginning! Since you hurt the person who's most important to me, I'm going to watch your most beloved person be punished!"

I couldn't believe it, and screamed heartbreakingly:

"But she is your daughter too! How can you be so cruel!"

In return, Alexander gently held the waist of the woman next to him:

"So what? I already have a better choice."

After saying that, he left without looking back.

I turned around and recognized that it was a Krait biting my daughter's neck.

I ran out like a broken heart and stopped Alexander who was about to leave:

"Emily was bitten by a snake. It's a poisonous snake! Hurry up...hurry up and let her out. It's still time to send her to the hospital..."

"Alexander, I beg you, I beg you..."

He kicked me hard to the ground:

"Sophia Rossi, you are still pretending! I have already replaced the snake in there with a toy snake. How can it be so poisonous?"

……

He kicked me on the wound where I gave birth to Emily, and the pain made me tremble all over.

But I didn't care and knelt down in front of Alexander:

"No... No, that snake is extremely poisonous. I know it. If Emily is not sent to the hospital within an hour, her life will be in danger!"

"Have you forgotten what day it is today? It's Emily's birthday! Are you just going to watch her die?"

There was finally a hint of warmth in Alexander's cold eyes.

Because he knew better than anyone how much his daughter was looking forward to her father taking her to the zoo today.

But who would have thought that she would be thrown into the snake house...

Alexander hesitated for a moment, and just as he was about to raise his feet to go in with me, Isabella in his arms fell to the side, holding her stomach.

"Sophia, you knew that I was kidnapped by your people two days ago and had a miscarriage. Brother Alexander finally had time to accompany me today, but you deliberately lied and said that the child was bitten by a poisonous snake. Aren't you just trying to make him relent and come back to accompany you?"

Hearing this, Alexander's expression suddenly changed, and he pushed me away angrily:

"Sophia, have you had enough? Now, in order to win favor, you even dare to spread rumors about your daughter's life. I think you are really crazy!"

"I'm warning you, if I hear you cursing my daughter again, don't blame me for being rude!"

After saying that, he turned around and left with Isabella without hesitation.

I stumbled to my feet and ran into the museum, only to see that my daughter was having difficulty breathing and her arms were dark black.

I frantically asked for help, but the zoo staff said that the door could not be opened without Alexander's order.
