Chapter 2

Half a month later, Foster was discharged from the hospital.

But on the day Foster and I were preparing to pick out wedding dresses, our car was rear-ended by a white Audi. So, Foster got out of the car to negotiate.

A tall girl in a white long skirt got out of the white Audi at the back. She apologized first, "I'm sorry, Sir. I just got my driver's license, so my driving skills are not very proficient yet. I'm sorry to cause you trouble. How about I add your contact information, so if there is any compensation later, you can contact me?"

At that time, Foster asked me to wait in the car, but I was really worried. So, I opened the window to see the situation.

The moment I looked out through the car window, I could hear the girl's voice and see that they were still conversing about compensation.

But the moment I saw the girl's face clearly, my whole body froze in place. That girl was exactly the same as the one I saw on the cliff in the parallel space.

After Foster pushed me off the cliff and killed my family, that girl came out of the tent to hug and kiss Foster intimately.

I couldn’t believe my eyes at that moment. How could that girl in front of me at that time?

By the time I realized what was happening, I had already gotten out of the car in a daze.

Foster turned his head and looked at me, asking, "Viola, why did you get out of the car?"

I subconsciously glanced at Foster's phone. He had already typed a phone number on it, which should be the contact information of the girl I just saw.

Was that how they met?

In another parallel space, although Foster and I got married successfully, they fell in love with each other and got together.

So, it could that the car accident that time was the opportunity for them to meet.

I shouldn’t let that happen, right?

As a result, I also took out my phone and forced a stiff smile, saying, "Since my boyfriend may not be able to contact you, why don't I add your contact information also?

“Then, what's your name?"

The girl in front of me smiled and answered, "My name is Madelyn Calhoun."

I was suddenly struck by lightning.

Even the names were exactly the same.

The rear-end collision was not very serious, so Foster contacted the insurance company immediately and compensation was not a problem.

After the negotiations were over, Foster took me to pick out a wedding dress, while I was in a daze the whole way.

Foster looked at me gently and asked with a worried look on his face, "Viola, I noticed you weren't in a good state after we got in a car accident just now. What happened?"

I directly said in a very unhappy tone, "Foster, will you delete the contact information of that girl just now?"

Foster didn't react too much, just a confused expression that could be seen. He asked me, "What's wrong?"

I suddenly lost control of my emotions, acting like a mad man and yelled, "I told you to delete it!"

Foster probably didn't expect me to react so strongly. Although he was confused, he still did as I said.

"It's deleted, baby. Please don't be angry."

After that, he hugged me tenderly and comforted me.

"I know you don't like me adding other girls' contact information. I won't add them randomly in the future to avoid making you angry. Okay?"

My eyes were red, so I couldn't help but hug him tightly.

I didn’t know how to explain my current thoughts to Foster, but I was afraid that the ending in that parallel space would happen.

So, I tried my best to control Foster and not give him any chance to meet Madelyn anymore.

But I didn't expect that everything seemed to be destined.

Three days later, when I went to pick up Foster from work, I saw Madelyn again at the downstairs of the company.

At that time, she was smiling and talking to Foster.

My head suddenly started buzzing.

I didn't understand how things turned out like that?

As soon as Foster turned around and saw my car, he ended their conversation and got into the car with a smile.

"Baby, you came early today."

He tried to talk to me, but I just kept a straight face and said nothing.

It was not until he repeatedly asked me what was wrong with concern that I spoke coldly, "Who was that girl just now?"

Foster smiled and said, "I was wondering why you were in a bad mood today. It turns out you are jealous again."

He reached out his hand to rub my face, but I quickly dodged it.

Foster smiled helplessly and began to explain, "She is Madelyn, an employee our company has just hired. It seems that you had forgotten the girl we met before, the one who rear-ended the car that day. It was her, Viola. Well, she looks very delicate, but she is actually very careless."

Foster smiled and shook his head when explaining that. But then he didn't mention her again when he saw my expression worsened.

Well, at that time, I felt like my sensitive nerve had been pierced. I even started to imagine wildly what happened between them.

Under the manipulation of the hand of fate, they, who were strangers a few days ago, had become colleagues at that time.

Then seven years later, he would fall in love with Madelyn.

What was more, for Madelyn, he would even push me off a cliff and kill my entire family.

It didn’t seem real for me before, but then it started to seem possible at that moment. So, when thinking of that, my heart suddenly turned cold.

"Foster, let's break up," I said.
