Chapter 2

3

Now, the living room was suffused with a romantic atmosphere.

Noah bent over, his hand behind my shoulder, as if he were about to hug me.

Looking at the boy who had the appearance and figure that perfectly matched my aesthetics, the beast that had been sleeping in me for twenty-four years awakened, giving me a very dangerous idea.

I wanted to see what this sweet boy looked like when he cried.

I made up my mind and said, "Come on!"

After saying that, I closed my eyes and waited for intimacy.

After waiting for a long time, I didn't get the expected hug and kiss, instead, I heard a short burst of laughter.

Curiously, I opened my eyes and saw Noah taking a comb from the back of the sofa backrest behind me, stepping back from me, and smiling, "Jasmine still likes to throw things around, no wonder there is no comb in the bathroom."

I was stunned.

So, Noah leaned over just for the comb on the sofa. It wasn't what I mistakenly thought!

In an instant, I felt my face quickly blush, feeling flustered and ashamed.

I could only change the subject and say, "Hey, are you hungry? Jasmine won't be back in Tucson until tomorrow. I'll take you out to eat."

Noah gave me a sweet smile, combed his hair a few times in front of me, and said, "Come on, don't call me 'hey'. You can call me Noah, just like Jasmine."

"Um, okay, Noah." My heart was still pounding. If he kept parading around in his bathrobe like this, I thought that three years would not be enough.

Fortunately, Noah said, "I'll dry my hair and change clothes, then we can go out. Just wait for me for five minutes."

"Oh, okay, okay."

Noah went back to the guest room to change clothes, and my heartbeat slowly calmed down.

Thinking about how I closed my eyes and waited to be kissed, I felt so embarrassed that I wanted to immediately leave Jasmine's house.

But I promised Jasmine to take Noah out for a meal. So, I couldn't just leave halfway and had to continue sitting there stiffly, waiting for him to come out.

After a while, Noah came out.

He changed into a very common white loose T-shirt, a pair of sports shorts, and a brand-new pair of sports shoes. He looked young and energetic. Without overdressing, he could easily catch people's attention.

Especially since he had perfect legs, at a glance, he appealed to my imagination.

I turned around in distress and tried to yield to the beast in my heart. After all, I was six years older than him. I couldn't be so impatient.

The beast said to me, "I have been sleeping for twenty-four years. Now I finally fall in love with a male at first sight. I couldn't give him up."

I was speechless.

"What are you muttering?" Noah walked over and smiled brightly. I fell under the spell of his charm.

I quickly said, "Nothing, let's go. What do you want to eat? I'll take you."

Noah was obedient and gentle, with a soft and light voice. "It's your call. I'm not picky."

Jasmine bought this two-bedroom apartment in the downtown area, and the food court was downstairs. There was no need to drive to find a restaurant.

I often came here to have meals with Jasmine, so I was very familiar with this area. I took the liberty to choose a very good restaurant.

According to the habit with Jasmine, I ordered two steaks, pan-fried cod fish, a stewed lobster with scallops, and two glasses of Summer Serenade.

Summer Serenade was a kind of champagne, cool and refreshing, perfect for drinking in hot weather, and the alcohol level was so low that it could be ignored.

Because Noah was already a tall adult, I didn't ask if he could drink or not.

After finishing the meal and returning, Noah got drunk unexpectedly.

On the sofa in the living room again.

Noah drank a bit of alcohol. His face was flushed, and his lips were seductive. He leaned back on the sofa, his vague gaze on me, and suddenly said, "Jasmine, where are we?"

He may have mistaken me for Jasmine. But Jasmine was currently thousands of miles away and had no idea that I got Noah drunk.

I had to say, "This is Tucson, where your sister works and lives."

Noah subconsciously licked his lips and asked again, "How did I get here?"

I was so hot for him right now.

But I could only endure and said to the drunk, "You got admitted to the University of Arizona, and you will go to the school the day after tomorrow. Today, you come here to get familiar with the city."

"Oh..." Noah muttered, his expression becoming more elusive and his gaze more blurred. He took off his shoes, curled up on the sofa, and appeared innocent, making me clench my fists.

I couldn't resist the roar of the beast in my heart, shamelessly asking, "Noah, do you know who I am?"

Noah listened, struggling to look at me, and shook his head in confusion and helplessness.

I was worried, raised two fingers, and continued to ask him, "How many fingers?"

Noah seemed to lose his mind, staring blankly at my hand as if he had fallen into a long contemplation.

So, I confirmed that he was drunk.

He must not drink at all. He got so drunk after drinking a glass of champagne.

The beast in my heart began to scream recklessly. "Come on, right now! No three years. No life imprisonment. Kiss him and run! He won't remember!"

I was speechless.

As if instigated by the devil, or maybe it was too hot in September in Tucson, I couldn't think calmly at all.

All I knew was that if Noah continued to be so soft and sweet, I really couldn't hold on.

Just when I still had the last conscience, Noah suddenly said in a very soft voice, "I want to sleep. I have the exam tomorrow..."

He was completely drunk.

He got so drunk that he thought he hadn't taken the exam yet.

In my heart, I silently told myself not to do bad things and admonished myself to be decent. After all, I was a graduate of the University of Arizona. I couldn't become my excellent university's crap.

The beast in my heart mocked me, "You coward! You just talking! You don't dare to approach the boy you like. You coward! You're chicken! You deserve to be single."

These words deeply stimulated me.

For a moment, there was a fire in my mind, making me lose my senses.

Without thinking, I jumpedany f on Noah and kissed him.

That sweet feeling came back.

My heart was pounding, but I didn't dare to be too impulsive. I only moved my lips in a small range and with high frequency.

However, Noah, who was already asleep, suddenly turned over and changed his position, and I was pressed against the sofa.
