Ex's wedding Chapter 1

Disgusting

1.

The weather was bad and my mood was bad too.

I was holding the wedding invitation personally sent by my ex-boyfriend. He was getting married.

The bride-to-be didn't come, but I knew who it was. It was my former best friend, Kyle Carter.

Kyle and Alaric Ramsey were the most familiar strangers to me. They would hold their wedding in a week, which was the anniversary of Alaric and I being together.

As far as I knew, Kyle was already six months pregnant. Why would they choose to hold the wedding at this time?

But I did receive a call from Kyle, "Lily, I'm getting married."

With a sweet tone and emotional words, I knew her very much.

Suppressing the resentment and anger in my heart, I tried to answer calmly, "What does your marriage have to do with me?"

"Lily, are you still mad at me? I'm sorry, it's just that I love Alaric and he loves me too."

"Enough!" I interrupted her. "Alaric gave me the invitation. I will attend your wedding. Do you have anything else to say? If not, I will hang up now."

I didn't want to continue talking to her. I was afraid I would throw up.

She didn't speak for a long time, and I was about to hang up.

But she knew me well and said before I hung up: "Lily, I have a request."

"What?" I patiently let her continue.

She said, "Lily, I beg you, can you be my bridesmaid?"

I took a deep breath to calm myself down.

"Kyle, are you looking for trouble?" I hung up the phone, looked at the clock, and cursed, "What a bitch!"

My cell phone was on the sofa. It was raining heavily outside and the raindrops seemed to be hitting my heart.

Alaric and I had been together for seven years, from graduating from college to working.

Kyle and I have known each other since childhood.

Who didn't know about the emotional entanglement between the three of us?

And they wanted me to be the bridesmaid at their wedding, the witness of their love?

It was so ridiculous.

Kyle, if you had ulterior motives, didn't blame me for being cruel.

I was getting angry when I was suddenly brought back to reality by the sound of a text message.

I checked it and saw a familiar phone number, it was Kyle.

She didn't send the WhatsApp message because she was still on my blacklist.

After all the trouble, I blacklisted all her contact information.

She found out about it two days ago, and that was why I removed her from my phone blacklist.

It was not a big deal and I read the message.

"Lily, I know you don't want to see me. I mailed the bridesmaid dress to you and it should be delivered today. I hope you can forgive me. I'm sorry, but me and Alaric are in true love."

"True love? How long have I known him, and how long have you been with him?" I turned off my phone, opened WhatsApp, and came up with a plan.

I searched online for fake pregnancy bellies and bought the cheapest one. They were not worth a penny more than I spent.

Anyway, you invited me.

Online shopping was great, you could find everything.
