Died in the Rival's House Chapter 1
As I was being dismembered, my husband was planning a trip abroad with his first love.
He hung up on my last desperate call for help before he said, "Can you stop harassing me? It would be better if a disgusting woman like you was cut into pieces!"
Later, the plastic bags containing my minced flesh were scattered all over the city.
Even as the most outstanding forensic doctor in our city, it took him a whole week to barely piece together a human form.
Unfortunately, he didn't realize that the pile of minced flesh belonged to his wife of ten years.
After a night of heavy rain, several black plastic bags were carelessly thrown in various corners of the city.
The first to pick one up was an early-rising cleaner. He opened the bag, took a look, and couldn't help but vomit.
Pieces of minced flesh were neatly arranged in the bag, with a severed finger lying quietly on top.
The police were almost overwhelmed with calls as more and more people discovered bags containing human flesh fragments.
The cruelty of the method was appalling.
Three hours later, all the bags that had been found were brought back to the police station.
My husband, the city's most outstanding forensic doctor, Ken Brooks, was urgently called back.
He was initially planning to take a vacation with his first love, Lily Martin, today.
He rushed back to the department. Looking at the bags of corpses spread all over the floor, he fell into silence.
Captain Wade Jones stood by his side and patted his shoulder with a worried face.
"Ken, it might be a bit difficult for you this time."
There were a total of 87 bags of minced flesh containing all parts except the skull.
Flesh, bones, internal organs, even the nose, ears, and eyes were all here.
I was floating in the air as a ghost, looking at these parts that once belonged to me, and smiled bitterly.
"Ken, can you see that these belong to your wife who has been in love with you for many years?"
Even with Ken's strong psychological quality, he couldn't help but shed tears in the face of such a tragic scene.
He untied the bags one by one. After being soaked in the rain, the minced flesh emitted an unpleasant smell.
Out of instinct, he couldn't help but retch, but he quickly adjusted himself and devoted himself to the work.
It took him a whole week to barely piece them together into a human form.
"How is it going?"
Hearing that he had finished piecing together, Wade rushed to the forensic laboratory excitedly, but he was just facing Ken's bitter smile.
"The body has been roughly pieced together, but due to the absence of the skull, the appearance cannot be restored for the time being. At present, it can only be determined that the deceased is a young woman, around 26 years old.
"There is something strange. Other parts are relatively complete, only... missing a right ear. I speculate that there should be some identifiable mark on the right ear."
Wade frowned and thought for a moment and suddenly realized something.
Then, he spoke cautiously, "Ken, I remember Violet's right ear..."
My heart pounded wildly as I touched my incomplete right ear.
I was once cut off half an ear by a gangster to save Ken.
Ken was also hesitant but denied it.
"I don't think it's her. We had a fight the last time we contacted. Besides, she is already more than five months pregnant, but there is no fetus in the female corpse's belly."
Wade didn't give up and continued to ask, "When was the last time? How long ago was it?"
Ken was hesitant for a while before he replied, "Ten days ago."
"What? Violet hasn't contacted you for ten days, and you still think she won't have an accident?"
Wade's eyes were full of anxiety, and I was a bit touched. During my years of marriage, he would help me out every time I had a quarrel with Ken.
Somewhat shaken by his words, Ken took out his mobile phone and quickly flipped through the screen with his fingers.
I breathed a sigh of relief as I watched him find my name and was about to click on the screen.
He will soon find out that I am missing.
With his ability, he must be able to find out that this pile of minced flesh is me.
