Anya’s POV:

As I opened my eyes, a strong smell of disinfectant rushed into my nose. After looking around, I realized that I was in the hospital.

Suddenly, what happened in the morning rushed into my mind and I touched my belly. “My child… My child. Is he safe?’

As I was thinking, a doctor came into the ward for the examination. Seeing him, I quickly looked at him and asked, “Doctor, how is my child? Is he safe?’

Hearing my question doctor looked at him and replied, “We have saved your child for now, however… I will suggest you give up one child. Your condition was originally not very good and after this accident, it became even more complicated. If you insist on keeping all the children, it may risk your life…”

At that moment, the door of the ward opened, and a man walked into the ward. The man was wearing a black suit and gold-rimmed glasses. He was also holding a briefcase in his hand.

It seemed that he had seen the confused look in my eyes and explained, “Miss Walter, I am Edward Gary, Mr. Carter’s layer.”

Then, he turned to the doctor and said, “If you are done with the examination, please excuse us. We have something to talk about.”

Now only I and Mr. Gary were left in the room. Then, Mr. Gray opened his briefcase, took out some documents, and handed them to me, saying, “Miss Wilson, Mr. Carter wants you to sign these papers.”

I took the papers from his hand with a puzzled look in my eyes. However, as soon as I looked at the document, the two words ‘Divorce Agreement’ came into my view. Looking at the corner of the papers, I saw that Evan had already signed the papers.

Looking at the divorce papers my lips curled up into a mocking smile. ‘How big fool I am? How can I think that he will give a chance to this marriage? How can I forget that I was nothing more than a tool in his eyes to vent his anger until his beloved Tara is back. Since she was back, how can he let me stay there?’

“After you sign these papers, you will receive 100 million dollars as alimony.” the lawyer added.

Because of his words, I came back to my senses took the pen from him and signed the name.

I have also gotten exhausted from this marriage both physically and mentally. Even though I had wanted my child to be born into a complete family, I didn’t want my child to have a stepmother and live miserably like me for the rest of his life.

After taking the papers from my hand, the lawyer gave me the bank card, turned around, and was about to leave when he paused at the door. He then turned around and added, “Mr. Carter said that he hoped that you won’t pester him, or you have to bear the consequences.”

The lawyer's words were like a knife stabbing in my heart, but I still nodded. Anyway, I also don’t plan to have anything to do with him anymore. I just want to live a good life with my children.

Mia’s POV:

I paced back and forth inside the office after hearing the will lawyer read. At that moment everyone in the Walter family was in miserable condition.

The old bastard, Karl Walter, my father-in-law had changed his will at the last moment before he died without telling anyone.

According to his will, he had 51% shares of the Walter Group to his eldest daughter, Anya. As for the other members of the Walter family, they would only inherit 10% of the shares.

“It’s me, Anya!” The woman took off her oversized glasses and spoke.

“Anya!” Hearing that all in the room gasped in surprise.

“Anya… You are finally back! If you don’t come, we don’t know what would have happen to us… Walter Group was almost got ruined.” Frank exclaimed.
