Arranged Marriage With A Billionaire For Revenge Chapter 1

The weight of my mistake crushed my chest as I stared at the documents scattered across my desk. Each page bore Jason's signature - a signature that now represented betrayal, manipulation, and the destruction of everything my father had built.

My fingers traced the Alpha&Luminary Corp logo. How could I have been so blind? The man I thought loved me had been nothing more than Marcus's puppet, strategically placed to gain control of our company. The same company my father had trusted me to protect.

"I had to do it, Sienna." My father's words from earlier that morning echoed in my head. "Alexander Hawthorne is our only option now."

The arranged marriage he proposed felt like both a punishment and a lifeline. My father's disappointed gaze had cut deeper than any words could. After discovering Marcus's vengeful plot, orchestrated through Jason the man I trusted more than anyone else,

I looked at my phone, thumb hovering over the contact number my dad just shared. Alexander's number. The thought of marrying someone I barely knew twisted my stomach, but what choice did I have? This wasn't just about saving face or regaining my father's trust - it was about protecting our legacy from Marcus's decades-old vendetta.

"Dad?" I spoke through the table at that had shattered documents and some drinks we ordered earlier, he sat reviewing damage control strategies. "I'll do it. I'll marry Alexander."

He looked up, his expression a mix of relief and lingering hurt. "This isn't just about the marriage, Sienna. I need to know you understand the gravity-"

"I do." My voice cracked. "Marcus played me. Used Jason to get to me, to get to you. I should have seen through it all - the convenient timing, the rushed partnership proposal. I just..." I swallowed hard. "I need you to know that I never meant to betray your trust."

My father's stern expression softened. He set down the papers and crossed the room, placing a hand on my shoulder.

"Marcus will pay for what he's done. No one hurts my daughter and gets away with it."

The protective edge in his voice caught me off guard. It had been years since I'd heard that tone - the one that reminded me that beneath his business exterior, he was still my dad.

"Alexander is different," he said. "I've known his family for years. He's honorable, successful in his own right. This isn't just about saving the company, Sienna. I wouldn't push you toward someone I didn't trust."

I wiped away a stray tear. "Jason seemed trustworthy too."

"Jason is his father's son." His jaw clenched. "I should have seen it coming. Marcus always was a snake"

The anger in his eyes when he mentioned Marcus and Jason surprised me. My father rarely showed emotion, but now I saw decades of betrayal bubbling to the surface.

"The merger with Alexander's company makes sense," he continued, his businessman persona returning. "But I won't force this on you but still advice you to take it. "Just..." He squeezed my shoulder. "Be careful with your heart this time."

Another hurtful reminder of the betrayal I received.

"I should go make those calls," he said, returning to his desk. But before he sat down, he added, "And Sienna? We'll get through this. Together."

I sank into the leather chair, my fingers tracing the edge of my coffee cup. The liquid had gone cold, much like the pit in my stomach.

Marcus's face flashed in my mind, he was my Professor at Stanford University. Even the first day itself I caught his attention because I had that charming , successful aura about me is what he said to me. Throughout my college years he was not just a professor but a father like figure who supported me, sometimes even more than my own father.

Coming from a large corporate business background when everyone expects you to carry on the family legacy, but I wanted to build my own company and Marcus was the one who made me believe I can when my own dad didn't like the idea .

The academic gathering where he'd first introduced his son Jason played like a cruel movie in my head. "My son could use someone like you to keep him focused," he'd said with that signature twinkle in his eye. Now I recognized it for what it was - calculation, not kindness.

My throat tightened. All those dinners at their house, the late-night conversations where Marcus would listen to my dreams and fears while my own father worked late. He'd shaped himself into exactly what I needed - a mentor, a father figure, someone who seemed to understand me better than anyone else.

And Jason... God, Jason. My hands shook as I set down the cup. While I'd been planning our future, sharing my deepest secrets, falling harder each day, he'd been running back to Tiffany. Those unexplained cancellations, the mysterious work meetings - how had I been so blind? The image of them together at that charity gala last month, his hand on her waist as they laughed, made me physically ill. I'd brushed it off as old friends catching up.

"Just colleagues," he'd said whenever I asked about Tiffany. But when I got to know that she was indeed not just a colleague, but the woman Jason was planning his life with when I was planning mine with him. Every time we were away from each other and I planned surprises for him, he was busy getting intimate with her. She'd been having him on the days I needed him the most. She'd been wearing the bracelet I'd once complimented him on - the one he claimed he'd lost.

But despite all the betrayal, a part of me still loved him deeply, but above that love echoed his words "I thought you were smart enough to catch up to the fact that I never loved you in the first place, it was all for my dad. Tiffany is the only girl I want" He didn't care that my heart was shattering into pieces when continuing. "Thankyou for handing over the Company though, Dad has been planning this for years, you were such a big help to take down your own father"

I was betrayed, wounded and lost. The love that I held so close to my heart, the guy I wanted a family with, was just using me for his fathers game. And now he was going to get married to Tiffany 'the only girl he ever wanted'.

Every declaration of love, every promise of forever - all lies orchestrated by a father and son determined to destroy mine.
