An Ungrateful Man Is Not Worth It
Chapter 1
At a colleagues' dinner, the secretary's stockings accidentally got wet from spilled wine.
David Green immediately grabbed a napkin to help her wipe them off.
Everyone held their breath, watching them as if they were watching a show, and then turned their gaze to me.
I looked up, smiling at the two of them. "We haven't registered for our marriage license yet, so we can break up anytime. I don't even care if you two end up in bed together, let alone wiping her leg."

Late at night, I was sipping coffee while handling the documents David left behind.
My phone made a special notification sound — it was a new post from him on his social media.
It was a photo of him and Cindy. Both were in swimsuits, sitting tightly together on the beach, smiling happily.
It seemed like someone forgot to block me from seeing this post.
To an outsider, it would look like those two were the real couple.
I put down my phone, sneering twice.
