Her ultimate revenge came on the operating table, where she intentionally paralyzed him during a routine procedure. Now, miraculously reborn into the past, he wakes up at the exact moment his wife and her idol are still plotting. This time, he won't be the victim.

After the Trauma of Love, I Found My Healing Chapter 1

I was paralyzed due to a deliberate surgical error caused by my wife, a doctor.

It all started because, after her reunion with her former idol, I learned that he was to scam money so I called the police.

The idol was thrown into prison with a life sentence.

My wife experienced a sudden realization, went back to our family, and exceeded her previous career accomplishments to become a well-known global neurosurgeon.

I thought it was all worth it until I ended up on the operating table for a benign tumor, with her performing the surgery herself.

She whispered calmly in my ear, "Do you know how cruel you were back then? Soon you will be punished."

The scalpel made its incision, and from then on, I was paralyzed in bed, suffering immensely.

When I had the chance to live this second life, it was during the time when my wife and her former idol were deeply involved.

——

On a winter night at nine o'clock, the wife and another man were in the steaming hot spring, embracing each other passionately, their clothes soaked.

I was standing outside the pool with my son, quietly observing the couple's silhouette.

The woman was delicate, and the man was tall and impressive.

It was truly a pleasing sight.

Today was my wife Arianna John's thirty-second birthday.

We had originally planned to celebrate it together at the hot spring resort.

However, she called to say she had to work late, so my son and I should arrive a bit later.

As a doctor, working late for surgeries is a common occurrence for her.

I had no doubts.

My son suggested that we could bring the cake and set up the resort in advance so that when his mother finished her surgery, she would be pleasantly surprised.

I rejected his suggestion at the time.

Arianna's surgeries often lasted seven to eight hours, and after they were over, all she craved was rest. If I picked her up after her surgery, she could rest comfortably in the car for two hours.

Those two hours were very important for relieving her fatigue.

Later, when it was deep into the night, she called again to say she had arrived early.

When my son and I rushed over, it was already two in the morning.

In my hurry to catch up with the celebration, I ignored Arianna's flushed cheeks and the familiar yet strange smell in the room.

I didn't even suspect her midnight excursion that lasted a long time.

Thus began my long years of suffering, until I was paralyzed in bed and died in endless regret.

But today, I was reborn.

When my son once again suggested we prepare early at the hot spring resort to surprise his mother, I happily agreed.

At this moment, my son and I stood by the hot spring pool.

Due to the mist, my son coughed a few times, waking up the couple in a close embrace.

This allowed me to see their outfits more clearly.

Both were wearing revealing swimsuits, and although they had bathrobes on top, they were soaked, making their physical reactions almost visible.

Especially Arianna, who was usually conservative; I had never seen her like this before.

When she saw me arriving early, her face showed only surprise, with no hint of delight.

She quickly positioned herself in front of the man, cleared her throat, and said gently, "Why are you here?"

At that moment, she still showed a naive panic, unlike the calm and cruel demeanor she had at the end of my previous life.

My six-year-old son looked up and asked, "Mommy, why are you hugging another man?"

Arianna, blushing, did not answer.

The man behind her responded calmly, "You must be Dr. John's partner, right? Please don't misunderstand. I am just an ordinary patient. Dr. John cured my chronic illness, and I happened to run into her and was so excited that I hugged her."

Arianna straightened her back, tacitly agreeing with him.

I gave a faint smile and chose not to expose the truth.

Noah, Arianna's idol from her student days, the white moonlight hidden in her heart.

Now, he was a scammer running a fraudulent scheme.
