Chapter 3

I was woken up by the sound of an alarm.

I subconsciously picked up my phone and saw that it reminded me that I should board the plane in half an hour.

I sat up in confusion and found myself in the departure lounge.

The radio station was announcing boarding information, and people were waiting to board the plane all around.

Was I reborn?

I looked at the date on my phone in disbelief and finally became convinced that this was true.

I dialed Mia's number with shaking hands.

The waiting time was so long that it made me anxious.

"Hey, Tina."

My tears fell in an instant.

I couldn't stop crying.

"Tina, what's wrong with you? Did someone bully you?"

On the phone, Mia's voice was very gentle, and she was still alive.

I cried and said to her, "It's nothing, I just missed you so much."

"Silly girl. Aren't you going to be back today? I am waiting for you at home."

On the phone, Mia comforted me softly.

I suddenly remembered the conversation between Oliver and Kathy that I heard before my rebirth, and my heart tightened.

"Mom, what I'm going to say next is very important. You must trust me and do as I say."

Mia responded softly.

"Mom, please turn off your phone before I am back. I'll give you a new one when I get back."

After hearing what I said, Mia was a little puzzled and said, "My phone was bought only a year ago and it's still in good condition. Why waste money on it?"

I said coquettishly, "It's your birthday, isn't it? This is the birthday present I bought for you, you must use it."

Mia had always loved me, so she agreed with a smile.

After hanging up the phone, I prayed silently in my heart, hoping that Mia would be safe before I went back.

When I thought of Oliver and Kathy, I could hardly suppress the anger in my heart.

Not only did he kill Mia, but he also stabbed a knife into my heart. I must avenge this!

After getting off the plane, I bought a new phone at a nearby store.

It was the same model and color as the one Mia was using now.

I returned home and subconsciously glanced at that space. It seemed as if I could still see the bloodstains spreading.

I took a deep breath and calmed myself down.

It didn't matter. Since God had given me a new life, I must protect Mia.

When I entered home, Mia came over to me with a smile, touched my face, and said with concern that I had lost weight.

Looking at Mia's gentle smile, I couldn't help but have red eyes. I took two steps forward and hugged her tightly.

She was smiling warmly and alive.

"You have grown up, but you still act like a child in front of me."

Mia said with a smile, patting me on the back.

"Mom, where's your phone? I'll change the phone card into your new phone."

Mia handed me the old phone and went to cook in the kitchen.

I immediately put the phone card into the new phone and secretly put the old phone away.

Oliver didn't come home that night but called to say he was working overtime at the company.

I sneered. It was obvious that he was hanging out with Kathy.

After dinner, I took Mia's old phone to my friend and asked him, "Can you help me check what virus has been installed on this phone?"

The other party took the old phone from my hand, connected it to the computer, and then started typing on the keyboard.

After a while, he cursed, "Damn, the person who installed this is really wicked."

I leaned over and asked, "How is it? Have you found out?"

He pointed at the code on the screen and said, "I found it. It's a modified Trojan virus that can manually control the news it receives. That means, it can control what you see. I restored the previously deleted records. They are all very suggestive and negative messages. One with fragile psychology will collapse if he reads this type of news too often."

I was shocked and said, "What if that person has already been suffering from depression?"

My friend hissed and said, "It's very likely that he will trigger a depression attack. This method is too ruthless. It kills people without being noticed."

I asked him, "Can you modify this? It's useful to me."

I had a smile on my face, but my eyes were cold.
