Chapter 1

I was a natural medicine body and the blood in my body could cure all diseases.

In the previous life, after curing the paralyzed legs of the princess of Akso City, I learned that the Woodward Family had said that the person who cured Dale would be the heir of the Woodward Family.

Dale was forced to marry me. Laurence, who climbed the mountain to pick snow lotus for her, heard the news and lost his mind for a while, fell off the cliff and his whereabouts were unknown.

A year later, Dale found Laurence’s frozen body.

She forced me to cut my wrist and bleed to save him.

“It was obvious that we would grow old together when Laurence picked the snow lotus to cure me, but you killed him! Georgie, didn’t you say that your blood is a magic medicine? Then let Laurence come back to life!”

I lowered my head to coax her, “Laurence has been dead for a year. I can only cure diseases, not bring the dead back to life.”

But Dale didn’t listen to my explanation and watched me bleed to death.

When I opened my eyes again, I went back to the day when the Woodward Family asked me to treat Dale.

Looking at Dale, who was sitting in a wheelchair with a pale face, I raised my eyebrows.

“Miss Woodward’s legs are useless. No one can cure them.”

——

Hearing what I said, Dale slowly raised her head and looked at me, her little face flushed with anger.

“Get out of here!”

I smiled faintly and turned to look at Mrs. Woodward beside me.

“Mrs. Woodward, if my Richardson Family says that the disease cannot be cured in this world, then it is really hopeless. You should consider having another child as soon as possible while you are young.”

As soon as the voice fell, the teacup in Dale’s hand hit me directly.

I dodged it sideways.

The teacup worth one thousand dollars fell to the ground and broke into pieces.

The startled Mrs. Woodward hurriedly apologized to me.

“Mr. Richardson, I’m sorry. I apologize to you on behalf of Dale. She is like this because of her body…”

I waved my hand indifferently.

“I understand. I won’t argue with a disabled woman.”

Seeing Dale trembling with anger, I turned around and left the Woodward Family.

Mrs. Woodward chased out and begged in a low voice. “Mr. Richardson, is there really no way? I heard that the Richardson Family has a secret technique to cure all diseases. As long as you can cure Dale’s leg, the Woodward Family can meet any of your requirements.”

But it was not that I couldn’t cure it, it was that I just couldn’t. In the last life, Dale blamed me for Laurence’s death, stubbornly believing that if Laurence brought back the snow lotus, her leg would be cured.

If she thought calmly, she would know that the snow lotus was just a tonic. The so-called special effects were all hyped up by others.

But after she found out that I used blood as medicine to cure her leg, she watched me bleed to death in order to save Laurence.

Before she died, I heard the conversation of the Woodward Family servants. It turned out that Laurence didn’t fall off the cliff because of picking snow lotus.

It was because he knew that he couldn’t possess the Woodward Family’s property and when he tried to climb up the ladder, he was discovered by the husband of the sponsor and thrown off the cliff.

In this life, I would no longer be involved in their entanglement. I hoped they could really grow old together.

“Miss Woodward’s legs, I can’t help.”

Dale followed me out and heard what I said and there was anger in her sweet voice.

“Mom, Laurence has already flown to the snow mountain. When he brings back the Snow Lotus, my legs will definitely be cured. Don’t worry about my affairs.”

Mrs. Woodward sighed.

“The Snow Lotus only has a restorative effect on your legs, but it is far from enough to let you stand up again. The Richardson Family is your last hope…”

Dale was still stubborn.

“I said, Laurence can cure me.”
