Chapter 3

Alexander was holding the baby tenderly and humming a lullaby softly.

Mr. Pierce smiled for the first time. "Alexander is the captain. Let's name this child PlanePierce. He will inherit the aviation business!"

"What nonsense!" Mrs. Pierce said angrily, "How can a girl be named like that?"

She couldn't wait to reach out and hold the child.

Alexander dodged and said, "Mom, you don't know how to hug her. Don't hurt her."

He caught a glimpse of me out of the corner of his eye, and his eyes lit up, "Audrey, come and see her. Her little hands and feet are so cute."

He lowered his head to kiss the child, but suddenly stopped, panicking like a child who had done something wrong, "No, no, Daddy can't pass the germs to you."

I have never seen such a childish look.

It turns out that he is so clumsy and gentle when he becomes a father for the first time.

This is the first time I've seen his childish side like this.

He couldn't wait to show off his joy to the whole world, but that shouldn't include me.

I pulled the corners of my mouth stiffly and turned to leave.

Alexander quickly followed and carefully held the child in front of me, "Audrey, look, her nose and mouth are exactly the same as mine, right?"

I lowered my eyes and looked, and that little face really looked very much like him, as if they were carved from the same mold.

The resemblance stung my eyes and my throat suddenly felt choked and painful.

I pushed the swaddling clothes away coldly, looking at Alexander's expectant eyes, and suddenly I didn't want to follow his wishes, "Take it away, it looks so disgusting, it makes me annoyed just by looking at it."

The child cried out "wow".

Alexander's eyes instantly turned cold, and he patted the child gently to comfort him with concern.

Mrs. Pierce's eyes pierced through her like a knife. "You are the most annoying one!"

Mr. Pierce pointed directly at the door, "You are not welcome here, get out!"

Sophie in the hospital bed suddenly woke up.

"Sister Audrey..." She looked at the Pierce family pleadingly, "I want to talk to Sister Audrey alone."

After the door of the ward was closed, Sophie apologized, "Sister Audrey, I don't want to separate you and Brother Alexander. He really loves you. In fact, it was Brother Alexander who was drunk that night that we..."

My mind buzzed, "Not sperm donation?"

She turned her face away.

"It was Brother Alexander who said he wanted to keep it a secret from you because he was afraid you would be sad."

"When I found out I was pregnant, it was already three months. He was furious and said he would give me a hush money after the baby was born and asked me not to mention it again."

"Then why are you telling me now?" I looked at her coldly, "Why did you deliberately come to my house with a bulging belly? Why didn't you keep it a secret from me for the rest of your life?"

She obviously didn't expect that I would expose her so directly. Her expression changed again and again, and finally she pursed her lips and said nothing.

I smiled sarcastically, "Now that he and I have broken up, and your child is born, you three can live happily together. What else are you worried about?"

She suddenly glared at me, with a weird smile on her lips.

The next second, she actually fell off the bed right in front of me, fell to the ground with a thud, and then screamed in fear.

"Sister Audrey, I know I was wrong, please don't hit me!"

I was completely stunned.

Before I could react, a huge force pulled me away.

“Bang!”

My cheeks burned with pain and I instantly tasted blood in my mouth.

Mr. Pierce pointed at me with a sullen face, "You bastard! Is the hospital a place where you can run wild?"

He raised his hand to hit him again, but Alexander stopped him: "Dad, she's my fiancée, I'll handle it."
