After Divorce, My Ex Chases Me Relentlessly
Chapter 1
My husband's beloved girl Sharon Williamson was back.
At the annual ceremony, my husband Yorick Jackson, who had won the award of best actor and had been secretly married to me for seven years, walked down the red carpet with Sharon.
At the other end of the red carpet, I greeted him with a handsome boy on my arm.
Yorick's face was ugly. When he was about to get angry, I said, "Mr. Jackson, your female companion tonight is more beautiful than ever before.
"My male companion is also good. But he was so strong last night, and I'm a little weak today."
Yorick's cold eyes fell on our arms. "I didn't expect you would do this."

I looked at their intertwined fingers and smiled.
"I learned it from you."
With deep eyes, he stayed calm.
He thought I was angry with him and didn't believe what I said.
I didn't lie to him although he wouldn't care.
After all, he didn't love me.
Over the years, he had been involved in many scandals.
But he had never officially announced any girlfriend, including me, his legal wife.
He gave all his love to Sharon, with whom he loved but couldn't be together.
Now, he finally waited for her to change her mind.
I smiled and greeted Sharon, "Ms. Williamson, I've heard a lot about your name before. Are you used to the life after coming back?"
After all, she was the woman that Yorick had been thinking about for ten years.
Sharon was wearing a blue fishtail dress, which made her look charming and pure.
"I was shocked when I just came back. There are a lot of changes here, but there are still many things that haven't changed."
She showed a bright and confident smile and looked at Yorick as she spoke.
I knew what she meant and smiled.
Seeing my playful smile, Yorick warned me in a low voice. "Yolanda, stop messing around."
I ignored him and walked towards the venue with my male companion.
Unexpectedly, the organizer arranged the four of us at the same table.
On my left was the handsome boy, and on my right was Sharon.
When the award ceremony came for the most promising male star of the year, the camera swept back and forth in the front row and finally stopped on me and the boy beside me.
"The most promising male star of the year is Luis Moore, the lead actor of 'First Dream'!"
I was ecstatic and cheered for him. I reached my hand to high-five him, but he put his arms around my shoulders and buried his head deeply in my neck.
"Thank you, Yora. I'm so happy."
My neck felt numb and tingling.
Luis went on stage and gave a speech.
Sharon looked at him, then tilted her head to look at me.
She said, "I've seen your drama before. You played the role of his stepmother."
Although she was smiling, her tone was sarcastic.
Luis seemed to sense something on the stage. He looked at me with a smile and said, "I am happy to work with Yora again. Five years ago, I was too immature to be her lover. Now, I can finally realize my dream and play a couple with her."
He was a little shy, and the tips of his ears turned red.
The audience below burst into laughter.
People thought we were just a screen couple, so no one took it seriously.
Only I knew how sincere and passionate Luis was that night.
Yorick placed his nameplate heavily next to me and said to Sharon, "Sharon, let's change seats."
He sat between me and Sharon and gave me a cold look.
"Yora? Did you ask him to call you that?"
I smiled and said, "He always calls me like that."
When I first got together with Yorick, he asked me what my nickname was.
I said a little embarrassedly, "Yora. When I was a kid, my parents called me that."
"Yora." He said softly, and my face turned red instantly.
After that, he would call me "Yora" and teach me how to act.
It was Yorick who brought me into the entertainment industry. He guided me in acting and taught me how to be an actor.
For this, I would always be grateful to him.
If he hadn't proposed to me after getting drunk and I hadn't gone from admiring him to loving him, I would have still called him "Mr. Jackson" respectfully now.
"Yolanda."
At this moment, Yorick's eyes were deep and his tone was filled with dissatisfaction.
"Don't go too far."
I found it funny. "Yorick, what are you talking about?"
