When She Cheated on Me

During a classmate gathering at our home, my live-in girlfriend of seven years slips in the shower. Instead of me, her ex-boyfriend rushes in and carries her out. Wrapped in a barely-there towel, she becomes the center of attention as our guests stare at me. Pushed to the limit by this public betrayal, I calmly open the bedroom door and offer a biting piece of advice: since it is crowded out here, they should take their intimacy inside.

Chapter 1

Classmates gathering at home.

My live-in girlfriend of seven years fell in the shower and her ex-boyfriend carried her out.

She was wrapped in a towel, but it was as if she wasn't, and everyone was looking at me.

I opened the bedroom door and advised her kindly, "It's crowded outside, do it inside."

————

The class reunion, gathered at my house for a good time.

There was not enough wine at the table, so I went downstairs to buy some.

When I came back, I saw Hulk Scott carrying my girlfriend out of the bathroom. She was only wrapped in a towel and dripping wet.

Everyone was looking at me, mocking and sympathizing and gloating.

Sarah White put her arms around Hulk's neck and looked at me, without any guilt or panic, but rather with a provocative look.

Hulk smiled at me and said, "Sarah fell down in the shower. It's not convenient for others to help her."

I glanced at the women in the room and couldn't understand why he was more convenient than women in this situation.

"George Williams, don't let your imagination run wild. They are not as strong as Hulk."

Sarah glared at me.

Hulk raised his eyebrows and said, "And I used to hold Sarah often, I know how to hold her comfortably."

Did he make sure he said "hold"?

I was complaining in my heart, but surprisingly I didn't feel angry. I even wanted to congratulate them on getting back together.

So I put down my beer and opened the bedroom door, "It's crowded outside, you guys do it inside, there's a condom in the first drawer on the left side of the bed, it's not a safe day for Sarah."

Everyone thought I was being angry and looked at me with contempt.

Sarah frowned and said, "George, are you done yet? I have said it many times, Hulk and I are just ordinary friends now, we have broken up for many years!"

She added, "Now your girlfriend fell down, and it was Hulk who helped you, so shouldn't you thank him?"

Hulk smiled smugly, "You're welcome. I'm happy to help."

My girlfriend fell down in the shower, and her ex-boyfriend went to pick her up. Should I thank him?

What kind of bullshit logic was this?

And my old classmates also seemed to think I should be grateful.

I really want to know what they would think if their boyfriends or girlfriends carried other women out of the bathroom or were carried out by them.

In the past, I would have yelled at everyone.

Then, they parted on bad terms.

Sarah will then say I'm disappointed in me because my behavior spoils the fun, because I don't trust her.

Then, she would trash the house and proceed to go cold turkey with me.

She would even deliberately let me know every day that she was going out to play with Hulk again.

Until I couldn't stand it anymore, I begged her for forgiveness like a dog, even on my knees, and only when she was in a good mood would she forgive me.

Maybe our relationship was not equal from the beginning.

In college, she was a privileged girl who attracted attention wherever she went, while I was just a nerd.

Every day, people send her flowers, and many of them change their confessions to her.

Even a big boss outside the school brought a truck full of roses to express his love, but she said in public that roses without love are cold and she doesn't need them.

But I was just a nerd, and my classmates and roommates excluded me and even bullied me.

I was a bit depressed during that time and often went to sit on the rooftop. Many times I wanted to jump down.

It was she who sat beside me and said to me, "High places are for looking at the most beautiful scenery, not for killing yourself, George, don't jump off the building, I'll enjoy the scenery with you."

At that moment, the breeze blew her hair and the afterglow of the setting sun shone on her face. She was my salvation.

Then we became a couple, and everyone envied me and was jealous of me, saying explicitly and implicitly that I wasn't good enough for her, and there was never a shortage of suitors for her, so I was anxious.

Every second of my life, I was afraid that she would be taken away by someone else.

So I tried my best to be nice to her and make myself feel important in front of her.

I would share everything with her, but she just responded with indifference, only ellipses, and didn't even bother to say a word back to me.

But I never gave up and still love everything about her.

I even thought that she was my everything.

I was used to being humble, she was used to scorn.

"George, are you mute?"

Seeing that I didn't say anything for a long time, Sarah suddenly scolded me.

Until now, she felt that she was right.

I glanced at her indifferently, walked over to the sofa and sat down, "If you think my presence at home will disturb you, I can leave first."

"Are you going to spoil the fun again?"

She asked with a frown, still not taking it seriously.
