We Killed Them All, but Only One of Us Had to Pay

The surveillance camera clearly captured my face.

The second victim was Yannick's neighbor.

After I gave birth to my daughter, I planned to escape.

It's too bad that Yannick and Georgia discovered me after only ten minutes of escaping.

In my panic, I had no choice but to turn to a neighbor, begging him to take me home and help me avoid Yannick and Georgia's search.

The neighbor kindly agreed and I thought I had encountered a good Samaritan, thanking him with a trembling voice.

Yet thirty minutes later, Yannick and Georgia showed up at the doorway, like some inescapable nightmare.

Yannick and the neighbor exchanged cigarettes, chatting and laughing.

The neighbor took a drag, glancing at me.

"Yannick, you really need to coax your wife."

"She's even saying you're abusing her. What young couple doesn't have their little squabbles?"

Yannick agreed with a smile.

Georgia reached out and dragged me away. Her hand pinched me under my clothes, leaving bruises. She whispered viciously in my ear.

"You little bitch, you dare to run, huh? I'll break your legs!"

I didn't struggle, but just looked back at my neighbor deeply and remembered his face.

At that moment, I wanted to kill him.

Unfortunately, when he was forced to drink highly concentrated sulfuric acid, I was casually shopping for a pretty new dress at the mall.

There were thirteen people and they were inextricably linked to me.

Still, no matter when they were killed, I always had a solid alibi.

The security footage clearly showed my face.

The more Wyatt investigated, the deeper his frown became.

He simply couldn't figure out how I had killed these people.

Until that day, when I held my daughter's funeral.

Wyatt burst in, his eyes filled with the joy of solving a puzzle.

He lost his composure, his voice sharp and shrill.
