Chapter 2

"If you keep on being unreasonable, I'll only get more fed up with you. You were already ugly when you were pregnant, and you're really trying to kill yourself, right?"

"Hurry up and call Vanessa to apologize. She now thinks she is a cheap person and a mistress who destroyed other people's families."

"Richard, don't scold Sister Evelyn like that. We are low-class workers. If we don't follow our boss all the time, how can we earn money? I'm not like her, who is spoiled by her husband in the boudoir."

When Vanessa was advising Richard, she did not forget to point out that she and I were different. She relied on herself while I relied on my husband for support.

Everyone is not stupid. When they heard Richard scolding me, they were so shocked that they clenched their fists.

They would never believe that he, who was always considered a perfect husband by outsiders, actually hit me and caused me to have a miscarriage just to scheme on a woman.

I turned off my phone and looked away.

I used to think that I was very happy because I had a good husband who loved me so much, but now I dare not think so anymore.

Seven years of love turned into bubbles and shattered at the slightest touch.

I casually called a friend who is a lawyer and asked her to help me draft some divorce papers.

After resting in the hospital for a few days, I started to go through the discharge procedures.

As soon as I got home and opened the door, I saw a pair of women's lace underwear that didn't belong to me lying on the ground.

Looking again, I saw a few used condoms hanging in the trash can.

I put my foot in my underwear and stepped over it, then kicked over the trash can.

Hearing the noise, Richard suddenly rushed out and pushed me hard. I was already weak and couldn't stand steadily, so I fell to the ground.

It's really disheartening. He still doesn't know that the baby is gone. Isn't he afraid that it will hurt the baby in my belly?

Richard was stunned for a moment, and then he mocked me: "Don't say Vanessa is a scheming woman in the future. You are the ancestor of scheming women. You are the first and no one is second."

When I turned around and met his angry eyes, Richard realized that my stomach was empty. He panicked and grabbed my hand and pulled me up.

"Evelyn, where are my children?"

"What did you do to my child?"

I stared at him, the murderer who killed the child.

She pushed him away with all her strength, then raised her hand and slapped him in the face.

“Bang!”

"How dare you ask me about my child? He was hit and killed by your car. I told you right there and then, but you refused to listen!"

"Richard, you are such a despicable person that you don't care about your own child's life or death and are eager to be the father of that damn animal."

Richard was stunned when he heard what I said, recalling that his car had indeed hit me, and I was pregnant at that time and needed someone to take care of me, but he only cared about Vanessa's pet cat.

As if realizing that he had gone too far, Richard guiltily pulled my hand, but I was stimulated by the sudden fragrance of flowers.

I'm allergic to pollen, and I told Richard about it.

I then realized that the living room was full of roses, and the arrangement seemed to be designed to please a woman.

I looked at the lace underwear that had been stepped on, the condoms in the trash can, and the various erotic arrangements in front of me, and a feeling of annoyance welled up in my heart.

So he refused to answer the phone last night because he hated me for disturbing their sex life, right?

I raised my hand and turned over the roses on the table, then picked up the iron rod and smashed the interesting decorations.

But I still inhaled the pollen into my nose, and my skin began to show signs of allergies.

The noise I made was so loud that a red figure rushed out of my room holding Richard.

"Richard, is there a thief in the house?"
