As my face flushed crimson, Jasper caught a glimpse of the sign for the obstetrics and gynecology department and scoffed, "Wynne Jennings, don't tell me you're trying to trap me by pretending to be pregnant?"

He abruptly let go of me, and I collapsed onto the cold tile floor. "If you're actually pregnant, get rid of it yourself. Don't make me do it. You're not even worthy of carrying my child!" he spat before walking away while holding Coco's hand.

I felt a warm, sticky sensation spread between my legs. A passing nurse saw me and panicked, yelling, "Quick, come help her!"
