James smiled tenderly and gently patted the back of her hand. "You are always so kind-hearted, but I will never give Mia a second chance to hurt you. If I could lock her in a mental hospital back then, I could certainly make her soul vanish today!"
Juliet nodded, leaning softly against James's chest. However, a trace of unease lingered deep within her eyes.
Malcolm began setting up his altar for the rite. Meanwhile, the young bodyguards sent to dig up the corpse from the back hill cursed their misfortune.
One of them viciously kicked the tombstone. "Damn restless ghost. She's been dead for three years and still won't stop causing trouble. She enjoyed her life here with over a dozen boy toys and now she's dragging us down with her."
