After the Earthquake, My Husband's Lover and I Were Trapped Below
Chapter 2
Edward hurried over and patted my back, assuming I was feeling nauseous again from the fertility injection. "Honey, feeling bad again?"
My eyes were red from vomiting, and I felt nauseous at the thought of that woman. I angrily pushed his hand away, and tears uncontrollably welled up in my eyes, but I couldn't speak and felt a heavy block in my chest.
He looked at me, filled with pity, and wrapped his arms around me, his voice becoming hoarse as he said, "Darling, I don't want you to suffer anymore. We won't have any more children. You're enough for me."
I pushed him away and forced a bitter smile, "Don't you really want a child?"
Do you really not imagine having a baby with another woman in the future?
I wanted to ask him loudly, but I held back.
At night, I asked Edward if he had been with other women besides me.
He paused, kissed the top of my head, and said no.
I made him swear that he would be celibate and childless for the rest of his life if he had slept with anyone else. He agreed to this with great decisiveness.
I looked at his determined eyes and thought that maybe they really hadn't reached the point of sleeping together yet.
In the early morning, while Edward was asleep, I sent a message to Olivia using his phone.
[Let's have a meal together tomorrow at Full Blessing Restaurant.]
She replied almost instantly. [Aren't you going to accompany your wife tomorrow?]
It turned out that she knew Edward was married. How disgusting!
I didn't reply to her, deleted the chat record, and went back to bed.
Edward probably felt the vibrations of the bed and wanted to hold me close again, but I moved away from him, my voice filled with coldness.
"I'm hot."
