Chapter 5

"Joyce, you killed Sharon, but we only locked you up in a mental hospital for three years. Isn't that too good for you?"

Jason's voice was cold and sarcastic.

My face turned pale as I looked at the five people in front of me in horror.

"Then... why did you come here?"

Bruce snorted coldly, "Dad is going to hold a birthday party and asked us to bring you back. Otherwise, do you think we will let you go so easily?"

My eyes dimmed.

It turned out that my father thought of me because he was going to have a birthday party.

It was not that they knew the truth and forgave me.

Ben sneered and approached me, with mockery in his eyes.

"Joyce, don't think that taking you back means we forgive you.

"You killed my sister. Your punishment will never end in this lifetime.

"And..."

His voice was terrifying. "From today on, you will suffer even more."

My four brothers looked at each other and smiled.

I felt like I had fallen into a devil's cave.

I was their biological sister!

Sharon had no blood relationship with them at all. Besides, I didn't set the fire or hurt Sharon.

Why didn't they believe me?

My face turned pale, and I begged them.

"I was wrong. I know I was wrong. Please let me go..."

Xander smiled coldly, "Let you go?"

He glanced down at me and suggested the others.

"I think Joyce hasn't realized her mistake yet. Why don't we play an interesting game with her?"

Five minutes later, I understood what the "interesting game" he was talking about was.

They found a rope and tied me to the back of the Rolls-Royce.

They sat in the car while I was being dragged along by it.

The intense friction pain caused numbness.

My wails were drowned out by the roar of the car.

They laughed and stopped the car suddenly. Inertia made me rush forward and crash into the back of the car.

Blood flowed from my forehead and dripped into my neck.
