Chapter 3

I closed the drawer with my foot, slowly turned around, and suddenly shouted, "Get out! If anyone enters my room without my permission, I will kick them out."

I embarrassed Kellan in front of her girlfriend like this.

Kellan, who was bad-tempered, couldn't hold back anymore. My mom quickly held his arm and pushed him out.

"Let's go. Let's go out. The older she is, the prettier she is. She is less and less unruly."

As soon as they left the room, Kellan vented all the anger.

"Why isn't the food ready yet? Do you want me to starve?"

No one should think they could bully my dad and get away with it. I ran out of the bedroom again.

Pointing at him, I cursed, "If you're starving, go make your food. You're just a good-for-nothing who relies on others."

Kellan was so angry that he jumped high. He then said, "You little girl. I think you're making trouble today."

From childhood to adulthood, he beat me up many times.

He was the only son of my grandmother in her old age, so the whole family spoiled him.

After my grandmother died, my mother even regarded herself as his savior.

Every time he hit me, my mother would say, "Your uncle is just joking with you."

And if I fought back, she would hit me.

So later, I stopped resisting and let Kellan beat me.

But in this life, I wouldn't indulge him anymore.

I raised my voice and almost shouted out.

"I said you're a useless waste who wastes away his life and relies on others. Did you hear that?"

He was about to rush over and hit me, saying, "You little brat. I'll shut your mouth."

I grabbed a chair and put it in front of me. Stretching my neck, I shouted to his girlfriend, "Miss, look. He hits women. How scary it is."

Kellan, who was about to hit me, stopped what he was doing, and his hand was in mid-air.

He turned his head and smiled awkwardly at his girlfriend.

"Linda, don't listen to Libby's nonsense. We've been playing like this since we were kids. How could I, a grown-up man, hit a woman?"

He laughed so awkwardly.

Seeing that the situation was not right, my mom got up to meditate. She said, "They have been fighting since they were young. They are only one year apart in age, one doesn't act like an uncle, and one doesn't behave like a niece. Come on. Let's sit down and get ready to eat."

Kellan smiled and coaxed his girlfriend to sit at the dining table.

I quietly moved behind him while he wasn't paying attention. Then I gently moved his chair away.

The next second, he sat on the ground with a thud.

Before he had a chance to curse, I laughed first and said, "Don't get angry. It's just a joke."
